Never Better~ 7

Normal PoV

I stretched my arms as I realised I was still at Jenna's, the side next to felt oddly warm. I made my way to the kitchen, where I could here loud bellows. I walked in to see Tyler's and Josh's head back mouths agape laughing at Jen. "What are you guys laughing at?" I questioned.
"Jenna, she fell trying to get the eggs from the fridge," josh answered me, his eyes avoiding my gaze.
"Jenna, I thought I as clumsy," I joked with her.
"Y/N, I have to show you something, Tyler can I borrow your phone?" At this point my mind was puzzled.
She took me into the living room,  turning around to face me, "okay you might want to brace yourself for this," okay what could be so bad about what she was going to show me, I relaxed my shoulders and stared closer at her. Focusing on her as she turned the phone around to face me.
"GOOD LORD!!!" I screamed, Josh and Tyler came running through and as soon as Tyler saw his phone he burst out laughing,  Josh's face was flush with red (is that the right word "flush" idk)  he ran his hands through his hair, going down to scratch his neck. "I'm sorry, Y/N," he announced with slight disappointment.
"Josh it's okay," I assured him, walking towards him arms outstretched. He didn't open his arms,  so I slid mine between his. As he gasped, I guess he expected me to be angry and not happy.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Why did he sound so concerned, that is the most adorable thing anyone has ever done for me.
"I'm fine Josh, in fact never better," awes could then be heard from both Jen and Tyler.

A week later~ish

"Josh!" Me and him spent more and more time together as the days went by, we still weren't going out and we weren't as close as me and Jen.
"Yea Y/N?" He popped his head round the corner.
"Can we go out somewhere?" I was bored,  my house bored me. The outside though, wow, that's something we can go explore.
"Sure, just let me get ready," he answered me, returning back round the corner.

An hour later~ish

"Come on josh!" What I'm impatient.
"Okay, okay. Where are we going anyway?" I hadn't thought.
"The park? Let's be 10 years old, come on!"
"Okay, weirdo," I knew he was joking.
"Hey! Your the one who sticks around,  you don't see me going round your house!" This is what I always tell him, to remind him that I know I'm weird.

I think things escalated too quickly between you and josh but there are good things coming soon, hopefully, if I don't spend forever on one topic.
