The Side I Like

Chapter 3

I leaned over my motorcycle to get on but was stopped when I heard my name being called, well not exactly , the person said 'hey you girl ' I spun around facing the person calling me.

It was a blonde hair , high heeled and a girl in an awfully high amount of make up and extra tight clothes.

"I'm Million Claires " the girl held out her hand for me to shake.

"Was your mom that evil to give such a crappy name" I scoffed

"You know you're funny for a shy girl" Million giggled

"Who said it was a joke ?" I asked her "And who said I was shy?"

Million's blinked.
"Well, I assumed that you were because you have no friends and you don't really talk to anyone"

"Okay-" I looked her in the eyes
"Sweetheart" I sighed "you probably wouldn't know this since your dumb and all but being antisocial and being shy are two majorly different things"

The blonde gasped and so did the other two girls behind her "You know what, I don't want you at my party anymore"

"Pffft. I hate parties and right now I'm starting to hate you too" I shrugged "Your wasting my time and believe me when I say: I'd much rather waste my time on a dog than waste my on a barbie doll like you"

I mounted my motorcycle then rode off .

Well that's one way to end your lunch.

I came back to school for awhile then left again heading straight for my sister's school.

I pulled up at the school entrance and waited for the bell to ring.
And there my sister walked out of the door with her friends. Her face lightened up when she saw me and I smiled at that waiting for her to come over.
"Come on kiddo, the park awaits" I said throwing my sister her helmet.

"So why the park ?" My sister asked licking the side of her ice cream.

"Nothing really  I just wanted to talk" I shrugged.

"Talk, really about what?" My sister raised an eyebrow.

"Oh come on, I've heard rumors about that guy you like" I blurted out.

My sister froze in her spot, " h-h-how did you hear about that" The blonde hair girl stuttered. Unlike me, my sister got her hair colour from our beloved father.

"I have my ways" I said with my signature smirk.

"Yeah what eves , like you never had a crush before" Cassi shouted out before stomping off.

I ran after my sister.

"Hey I'm not teasing you" I said once I caught up to her "I just want to help you"

"I don't need any help, thank you" My sister walked faster

"Yeah really, so stalking the guy is you not needing my help"

"I wasn't stalking him, I just happened to be on the same block as him and at the same unscheduled class and at the boys bathroom door"
Cassi paused at realization "even if I was stalking him how would you have known!"

"I told you, I have my ways" I shrugged.

Cassi opened her mouth to speak, when she craned her neck as if she saw something.

"Cassi , what is it?" I asked

"I thought I saw....." Cassi trailed off.

"What?" I asked

"I saw....." She trailed off again

"What? You saw what?!" I asked again getting agitated.

"I know that I saw him" Cassi mumbled.

I swear if I ever get in a shoot out,I will never depend on this girl to tell me that a guy with a gun is sneaking up on me. She'd be all like 'I could've sworn,no it couldn't be could it. When he shoots her I'll know if he was a guy with a gun or not'.

"For Pete's sake would you tell me already!" I shouted losing my patience.

"I saw uncle Roderick" she finally spoke pointed.
I looked the direction she pointed. It was him.

I grabbed Cassi's hand hoping he hadn't seen me nor Cassi. I pulled her behind me I started with a fast walk but then it turned into a run,then it turned into a dash for my motorcycle. But before I had the chance to even grab hold of the  bike ,the retched man grabbed hold of my upper arm.

"Where do you think your going in such a hurry without even saying a hello." The bitterness in his voice was evident.

"Why the hell are you here!" I matched the bitterness in his voice. I was going to add something else when I realized Cassi was still there. I dipped my hands into my pocket and took out a few change

"Here take a cab, go to Maria's house I'll be there shortly"

"But-"

"GO!" I exclaimed against her protest. Cassi rushed off immediately.

"Well well,if it isn't Anamaya and my isn't that Cassandra Reid. She has grown remarkable dont you think" The man stared off in the direction Cassi ran away.

"What do you want you psycho!" I shouted out.

"Dear, there's only one thing I want right now" the maniac spoke with a slight chuckle.

"What,to be with your brother. You know I could help with that" I spoke,my voice was laced with venom. And the more I opened my mouth the darker Roderick's expression got.

"Revenge" Was all he said before he turned around and started to walk away but then he paused "I'll be seeing you shortly,especially that sister of yours" the deranged freak laughed before walking back to the direction he came from.

I am so dead and now Cassi is caught up in a problem I created.
