-your POV-

nothing interesting happened until lunch, so let's just fast forward to that. Me and Frank have already established that we are friends, so we sat with each other at lunch. We are both super awkward, and there were way too many popular people in the cafeteria, so we kinda sorta just left the lunch room and started roaming the school for a half an hour together. "So..." Frank said. "Yea" I said. We had a weird connection, where we didn't really have to say anything, but we understood each other. "Do you ever feel lonely, and confused... Kinda empty? I dunno, how to explain it. I just feel so cold and weird lately. I thought I could trust you, since we're friends... Just wondering if it's just me." I said openly. "Oh my god, yes. Every day" Frank said passionately. He totally understood what I was saying. We stopped walking. "I feel safe with you. Happy." I said smiling. "I feel the same" He said, looking at me and smiling. Frank slipped his hand into mine. Our fingers interlocked and it was perfect. Frank breathed out loudly. He seemed so relaxed, it was adorable. I smiled. "I promise, you'll always have me." He said lovingly. He gave me a piece of paper with his phone number on it. "If you're ever feeling like you need somebody, I'll be there." He said. "Thanks Frank. And I'll be there for you." I said. He squeezed my hand. We were at the end of the hallway, and the bell rang. Last period. "Bye" I said, walking over to my locker. "Bye" Frank said, walking over towards the hallway where his locker was. School sucked until the bus. I sat next to Frank. It was raining. "Hey... Um, since I know where I live, and how to get home from basically everywhere in the town, can I walk you home?" Frank asked cautiously. "Yea, that'd be great. Thanks" I replied. "okay cool" Frank said as he slipped his hand into mine. He squeezed my hand delicately again. It was nice, having a friend/whatever this is. Having Frank be there for me. "y'know," I said, "school isn't hell anymore." I continued "anywhere that I'm with you, is heaven." Frank blushed. "Thanks... You too" Frank said. It was my stop. We both got off the bus. We walked about half way down the first street in my neighborhood in the rain, holding hands. Then Frank said "hey [your name]...". "What's up?" I asked. Frank just stopped walking, looked at his shoes and then looked up at me. We looked each other in the eyes for about a second and then I said "I don't feel empty anymore." "Neither do I." Frank said as he pulled me in. He put his left hand gently on the back of my neck and his right arm around my waist. "Neither. Do. I." He said smiling. We kissed. He wrapped his jacket around me as we stood there in the rain, lips locked. He trailed kisses down my neck and to my collar bone. I could feel him smiling on my neck. I almost passed out because of how happy I was. He could feel me shaking. "It's okay." Frank said, looking up to meet my eyes. "It's okay." He smiled. I smiled. And then, for god knows why, I started crying. He started crying too. So we stood there, in the middle of the street, in pouring rain, crying, kissing and feeling happier than ever. "I don't know why I'm crying" I lied. "I'm crying because for the first time in forever, I found something/someone that makes me happy" Frank said with pain in his voice. He fell into my arms. I hugged him. "I will always be there for you. Always" I said. "I will always be there for you too." Frank said considerately. He squeezed my hand one more time, and started to walk home. I turned around to see him dancing and kicking puddles while smiling up to the sky with his arms out stretched. "Frank!" I shouted at him. He turned around. "I fucking love you." I said. "I fucking love you more!" Frank said as he walked backwards happily. "Gotta go." He said. I whispered "but I love YOU more" under my breath. Five seconds later, I hear in the distance "I FUCKING LOVE YOU MOST!" I knew it was Frank. Best day of my life.
