「Author's note: In East Asian culture, people usually refer to each other by last name unless they're close. I will try to stick by this except when it doesn't sound right in my head. I debated using the kun, chan, and san suffixes but ultimately decided against it because I'm afraid of appropriating Japanese culture and having it clash with the English of the story. Sorry if that bothers you!!」

I arrived shortly after Shiemi, noting at how they boys were staring at her. This is exactly why I didn't want a skirt. Then they looked at me.

"Oh, hello Watanabe!" Said Shiemi happily.

"Good morning everyone," I replied.

"Ahem, now that everyone's here," Yukio began, "you will be put into pairs of two. Suguro and Yamada. Moriyama and Okumura. Shima and Kamiki. Miwa and Takara."

"What about me?!" I asked, hating to have been forgotten in this world as well as the one I was born in.

"Hmmm... Watanabe you can go with Miwa and Takara," he said, not noticing how bothered I was.

The three of us walked off together to search for the ghost.

"So...how come you have boy's uniform instead of a girl's?" Miwa asked, trying to break the awkward silence.

"I don't like skirts so I asked for pants," I replied, not really wanting to have an entire conversation about it. Besides, in a couple minutes I had sneak away from the two and make my way over to the rollercoaster to help Rin.

"Oh okay," responded Miwa. Sensing that I didn't really feel like talking about it, he dropped the subject. The boys seemed to keep their attention at the front so I was able to sneak away fairly easily. I made it over to Rin just in the nick of time.

Amaimon was standing on the head of Mephisto's statue, holding the Komaken still in its red casing.

'Phew, I made it just in time,' I thought, sighing in relief.

"Eh? Who are you?" asked the green haired demon.

"I'm Rin's friend. Now I've noticed that you stole Rin's sword, and last time I checked, theft was still illegal, so you should give it back to him."

"Hmmm, no I'd rather keep it. Otherwise what fun would that be?" he said, not phased by me at all.

Now it was certainly hard for me to get upset at Amaimon, because I really did like him in the show and books. But at the same time I needed to help Rin! Such a dilemma. But now is not the time for preferences, he could be after me too.

"It doesn't matter if it's fun, it's his! Give it back!" I shouted but then shuddered, reminded of what happened the last time I said, 'give it back'. I needed to calm down.

"I'd rather play. Let's see how this works," he said as he removed the red casing.

I didn't know what to do, or rather, what I could do. I felt so useless.

He unsheathed the sword and Rin burst in to blue flames. Rin looked at me in despair, hoping I wouldn't be afraid of him.

"Stop!" Rin shouted, desperately. Even though I liked Rin, I did kinda wanna toy with him as well, to be honest. I put on your best acting face.
