I told him yes.

Joeys POV

"Hello, who's this? Oh, hey Shanna," I answered, saying her name so Shane knew who I was speaking to, "Still coming around later?"

"Yeah, I'll be there in a bit. Who else is comin'?" She asked.

"Sawyer and that's it really, just the four of us. Kay cool, see you, bye," I hung up and rolled my eyes clearly.

"You don't like Shanna?" Shane asked with a smile creeping across his face.

"No, I do, how can't you like Shanna?" I laughed, "Its just that she suggested playing Truth or Dare later on and that game is super over used."

I'd obviously told her that it was alright for us to play it because I didn't want to make Shanna angry, she's like Shane's body guard.

I found an empty Coca-Cola bottle on my bedroom floor so I decided we could use that instead of a glass, vodka bottle. It was a mature way of dealing with an immature situation I guess.

I came downstairs to see Shane texting someone and biting his lip like a fangirl. He looked super cute, but doesn't he always?

UGH, Fine. I have a huge case of crush-itis when it comes to Shane and I know its wrong but it feels right in so many ways and I hate me for that.

"Shane?" I asked, "Whatcha doing?"

"Some guy just asked me on a date," He rolled his eyes to act as if he didn't care but he grin was still there. It was like he was wearing a mask.

"And you said-" I gulped and tried to not get as worked up as I felt

"Well, I said no."

I mentally smiled but stared at Shane, "Why?" As if I cared! Shane's single!

Shane's POV

Shit.

There was no way I could tell him its because I loved him. I'd have to lie.

"Oh, no I meant yes, I told him yes." Ugh, I hated having to lie to Joey, even if it was for the best.

He didn't love me, and if I told him my feelings then it would totally ruin our friendship.

But what kind of friendship is it if I'm keeping a secret from him and blushing every time he looks into my eyes?

"I need to tell you something," We both said at the same time.

We collapsed into a fit of laughter, despite the serious matter. I had to tell him my feelings, but I kept laughing so I could stall him for as long as I could.

Ding Dong

Shit, the doorbell.

"We'll talk later, yeah?" I asked and he nodded and went through the hallway to let in Shanna and Sawyer.

I can't believe I almost told him.

Joeys POV

I can't believe I almost told him.

Am I completely mad? For a start, he'll hate me, and also, he's going to go on a date with another guy. Presumably someone who's strong, fit and isn't as locked away as I am.

Why do I have to be me?

I spend all day pretending to be someone I'm not to my fans and I'm getting sick of it

I opened the door to see Sawyer and Shanna standing on my doorstep.

"Hey guys, come in," I said, flatly.
