**Liam's POV**
(This is the first time I have done Liam's POV!!)
We pulled into the driveway to my mom's house. It was just going to be her home today. I could tell Danielle was nervous. She kept bouncing her leg, it's one of the things she does when she is nervous. David sat in the back of the car, Dani gave him her phone so he was pretty quite.
"We're here." I announced and turned the car off. I got out of the car and opened the back seat door and unbuckled David from his car seat. He handed me Dani's phone and I put it in my pocket and lifted him out of the car and decided to just carry him. I walked over to the other side of the car and reached for Dani's hand.
"It's alright babe, just relax." I told her and walked up to the door still holding her hand and carrying David. I rang the doorbell and waited for my mom to answer.
"Well hello there." She answered wearing the biggest smile. "Come in, come in." She said and gestured us into the house.
"Nice to see you mom." I told her and side hugged her since I was holding David.
"You must be Danielle." She said and looked at Dani.
"Call me Dani." She replied and stuck out her hand for a formal handshake but knowing my mom, she hugs any and everybody.
"Forget that, I'm a hugger." My mom said and pulled Dani in for a hug.
"Daddy who's that?" David whispered into my ear and wrapped his arms around my neck.
"That's my mom, you can call her grandma Karen." I told him and sat him down on the ground but all he did was cling to my leg. "It's okay, don't be shy buddy." I told him and looked up and saw my mom and Dani looking at me and David.
"Come here baby, it's alright." Dani told him and he detached himself from my leg. He ran to her and she picked him up placing him on her hip.
"Say hello." She whispered to him. David buried his face into her neck and I could hardly hear him say hello.
"He's just a little shy, mother." I told her so she wouldn't feel bad.
"I understand." She smiled and nodded.

"Bye mom." I hugged my mother and kissed her cheek.
"Bye sweetheart." I walked over to the sofa and picked David up since he fell asleep about an hour ago.
"Goodbye Dani, it was nice meeting you." She hugged Dani as she said bye to my mom.
We said our last byes and left the house. I managed to buckle David up without waking him up and got into the drivers seat.
"See, that was nothing to be worried about." I told Danielle as we pulled out of the driveway and headed home.
"Yeah I guess not." She softly said and I could tell she was tired.
"Go to sleep babe, I'll wake you when we get home." I reached over and grabbed her hand and she wrapped her small fingers around my larger ones.
"Thank you." She said then yawned. She leaned her head against the window and closed her eyes.
..
"Babe." I reached over and unbuckled her seat belt. "We're home." I didn't wait for her to wake up I just lifted her and carried her bridal style into the house.
"I can walk." She mumbled and snuggled her face into my chest. "But I don't want too." She finished as we stepped into the house. I walked up the stairs and into our room. I pulled the blankets back and laid her down then pulled the blankets up her body.
"I'm just going to take a quick shower then I will be back." I told her then kissed her head. I went to checked on David to make sure he is still asleep.
I took my shower and walked back out into mine and Dani's room with just a towel wrapped around my waist.
"I like that outfit, you should wear it more often." I heard Dani's soft voice call from the bed.
"Very funny." I said and grabbed some boxers and quickly slipped them in not really caring if she was watching. We have seen each other bare many times so it wasn't that big of a deal.
"Scoot over." I told her and slipped under the duvet next to her. She lifted her head then placed it back down on my bare chest.
"You leave in two weeks." She pointed out but I could hear the sadness in her voice.
"I know." I tangled my fingers in her curly hair and sighed in deeply.
"And you won't be back for 8 months."
"It will be alright I promise. You and David can come out for a little while and I am allowed a few days off to come home every once in awhile. And there is FaceTime and text massage and all of that stuff." I told her and really meant it.
"I know, but it won't be the same." She said and moved away from me. She turned on her side so now her back was to me.
"Baby, don't be that way." I pleaded her and scooted my body closer to hers.
"I'm not mad at you, I promise. I just scared to be away from you for so long." She said but kept her back to me. I slung my arm over her side and placed my chin on her shoulder.
"I'm going to miss you and David." I told her kissed her just below her ear.
"We are going to miss you too." She whispered to me.
"I love you." I told her. We have told each other many times, but those were all in joking manners. This is the first time one of us has said it and actually meant it.
"I love you too Liam." She turned her head over her shoulder so we could see eye to eye. I kissed her then she turned her head back. It wasn't long after that before her breathing became even and soft and she was fully asleep.
