Sometimes you wonder what is the meaning of life if we are all going to die anyway. And sometimes you wonder why you decided to make a dumb choice that ruins your life forever. With all those wonders in life there nice things like, getting a free ice cream or shagging a hot bloke, and you question why only I suffer unlike any other? Well, that's what Kise wondered when he was strapped to a table, with half of his fingers and toes missing and his boyfriend in a unknown location. Maybe he was dead. Most likely. He got knocked out by some nasty ghouls and then woke up while he was being strapped to a metal surgery table in what it seemed like a abandoned storage.

"What the fuck" he tried to look around only to find that half of his left leg was missing and that there was something dripping on his stomach, it was warm.
He looked to the ceiling to find a body hanging and it's blood was dripping onto him. "Nasty" he said. Soon he heard steps on the cold floor and with it came a laugh.

"Oh look our rule breaker boy is awake. Oh yea,, lookin' great huh?" They let out another laugh this time being louder then suddenly they stopped. "I hope you are hungry" he was "because I brought you food!"

They let Kise's hands free only to tie them on his back. They forced Kise to sit up and then dropped a metal bowl full of human meet in front of him. "Here, eat we don't want you starving to death do we?" They said as if they were flirting with Kise while he growled in disgust.

As soon as Kise smelled the meat he began to eat it like some kind of starving animal and then started crying. 'This is a hell  of a shitty situation I'm in.' The other ghoul pulled Kise's face from the bowl and said grinning "Time for another injection you little punk."

Hours and hours of torture later, Kise finally realized that he had no options or hopes. He was stuck and helpless. He had finally given up, there was no way he would ever get out of there and keep on living like noting happened. "Have you killed him yet?" Kise asked in hopes that his boyfriend would be already dead and not being tortured like he was. "Blue boy? Nah, we're testing some stuff in him. It's not too bad tho. We're after you, not him, he's gotta die but he's gotta die in your hands baby." 

His hands? Kise would have to kill his own boyfriend? Oh no. Now everything got about a thousand times worse. "Oh that's great. At least can I do it now? I don't want to leave him suffering like that." He honestly didn't know what hurt more, having to kill his boyfriend, or knowing that because of him his boyfriend would die young, he would loose a lot of oportunities because of him, oh god and Aomine's mom... She would loose a son. But what has to be done will be done, he just can't let a innocent person be torured because of him. 

"Well, ye ask me, I don't particularly mind, but I don't think boss will let you do that. Hold a second, I'll ask him if you're lucky he'll pitty you and let you do that" Kise was relieved, this guy didn't seem so bad now, even though he took off Kise's leg, fingers and toes. As they wandered off to oblivion Kise began to think his last words to his ever loving boyfriend, hs best friend and basketball partner. 

He has many regrets, but maybe this one is his biggest, having his boyfriend killed, well, actually killing him himself. He would forever remember his cheesy smirk and loving personality, beautiful hands and his never ending ability to love Kise from the bottom of his heart. Many times he wondered if he should just end with this relationship and leave Aomine to a better life, but he just couldn't do it, he has always been too selfish to let go. And now the consequences will haunt him until he leaves this world, and his actions will haunt him in the afterlie and beyond. Somethings are just not meant to be. 

He heard steps coming towards him and thought that his wish was most likely neglected, but to his surprise, the so called 'boss' let him kill Aomine now so he wouldn't have him suffer any longer. He just had to wait a few hours until Aomine was completely aware of himself and his surroundings, in  the mean time he prepared himself mentally for what's to come, kill his loved one, put behind his past life of happiness and joy. 

Time has come and he had to kill one person that was just too precious to him. 

"Kise!" Aomine yelled as soon as he was forced to enter the room. "Kise!" 

Kise had his head down and didn't look up to Aomine even when he called his name so desperately, his mind was calm and determined to finish this for one and all. He got up from the chair he was sat in and looked to Aomine, who was let go and immediately ran to Kise. 

"Oh my god, you're alive, I can't believe you're alive, I'm so glad and.. Kise I love you so fucking much.." Aomine said as hugged his lover, he didn't know what happened or how they got there but all that mattered was that they were together at that very moment, which might as well be their very last. 

"I..I love you too so so much..." Kise said with a sharp pain in his chest. "I'm sorry you had to go through all of this and that I got you involved in such a messed up world and I wish I could do this all over again, but... but time doesn't come back and I just wish we had it different."

The two looked at each others eyes and nodded in unision. "Just do it already, you don't have to put up a show just for us." one of the ghouls in the room said making Kise rush.

The lovers looked at each others eyes and had their last little moment but Aomine wasn't so sure, he still had hope for them, even if very little. He knew it wasn't over, they had gone through so much together it just couldn't end there, he had faith. He locked eyes with Kise who just nodded.

"Till death do us part."
