The bell rang and I scattered all around my locker, trying to find my notes. Of course, an exam. I don't know if I can cheat myself through this one.
I walked to class, running into everyone. It was like a big maze or people. Horrifying.
Until I ran into a angel. Our eyes met and it was like time stopped. I looked down and my black hair ambushed my face. He smiled, then walked away.
I've never seen him around in my couple of years at Notre Dame. Of course, I'm a little un-social but still, I would've noticed a guy like that.
I continued to walk, giggling and turning red. It was gonna be a good day, I could already tell.
During lunch, I got in line and waited for food. There was nothing better to do. But, I heard his beautiful voice. I turned around and there he was talking to the people behind him.
"Hey" he said. A half smile appeared on his angelic face. All the sudden, I felt nervous. Was he talking to me? Did he see me look at him? All I knew is that my face got hot red. I turned back around and notified he was talking to me. I smiled. I had no voice.
"What? Are ya shy?" He asked "Because I'm like a teddy bear. I won't hurt you"
"No" I said. I found my voice and cleared it out "do you have a name?"
He paused. Did that go to far? I could tell that my face gave away my nervousness and guiltiness. Then he smiled, and my heart melted.
"Ya, it's Josh"
