I walked out of the place I've known all my life. I wonder why they kicked me out? Did they find something out about my old home? My old family? I walked trying to stop questioning myself. I put in my ear buds and walked. Almost there, I thought, just a half a block.
When id finally arrived, I hit a button on the key pad and buzzed room 77.
"Hello?" A familiar but not voice sounded through
"Who is this?"
"Um, it's your new roommate, Camryn." I couldn't place a name on that soft angelic voice. Who could it be?
And then I realized...
"Oh, hey shy girl"
It was Josh! I'm staying with the hottest guy in school! Thai can't end well at all.
"Oh then I must have gotten the wrong room" I stumbled across my words like I'd had a difficult time spitting them out.
"Ellertson..."
"Ya that's me. Josh Ellerston" he interrupted.
"Can I come in? It's flipping cold out here" I asked. It sounded more like begging to me. I was freezing. I only had stupidly decided to wear my jacket and a beenie.
I walked through the room door. My brown eyes grew big with excitement as if I was Alice exploring Wonderland. The carpet was a red ish colour and the sofa was a faded white. And there he was, standing in the middle of a open room, on a ugly carpet. But his beautiful face made everything look better. I wandered around.
"Where am I staying? Why do you live alone? Don't you need..." I questioned. I glanced around the room.
" ok so maybe the nickname shy girl isn't a good nickname. How bout the questioner." He made a sign in the air as if it was a big deal. Then, we both started to laugh.
