Jonathan has been a while. I thought he was just gonna drop Emilia off. Unless he's gone shopping without mentioning it..
Well, Eduardo's swimming class is in less than an hour so I really don't have time to wait for him to come home. Don't get me wrong, Jonathan is a great father but at times like this, he knows I'm tired and unwell yet he's acting like he has all the time in the world. He offered to take Eduardo to swim class.
Shut up Anna. Jonathan is a great father. Maybe he's just in traffic?
What if he's not. What if he's found someone else.
Anna now you really do sound stupid. You're married. You have kids. You're pregnant - with his third child! If you're worried about him just call him.
I listen to my inner voices and punch my husbands phone number into the phone. It rings for a while until I get bored of the tune. I call and I call and I call.
"Jonathan where are you?" I whisper, a tear escaping my eye.
