My best friend

Vanessa pov

I flopped down in my bed in exhaustion. I felt so relax until I heard my phone beep. I moved from my comfy spot and grab my phone to see a message from Zac. It read:
" I miss you xxxx" I couldn't help but smile! He has been at basketball tournament for two weeks and today was the day he got back. I heard my mom shout my name, so I went downstairs. I walked around the house until I found her in our grand kitchen conversing   with our house keeper Anna.things have been kinda weird with my mom and I since Zac came over and had dinner with us.
" sí madre?" I said
" ahh Vanessa, I wanted to remind you that tomorrow Stella your father and I will be going to San Fran" she said.
" oh that's right" I said knowing I could never forget
" yes! And we are bringing your grandma back  with us to visit for couple days. It's been a long time since she has seen y'all  and she misses y'all"  she said. I smiled so bright I loved my grandma.
" awww yes I miss G Ma" I said astoundingly.
" yes! So we leave tonight. And Anna will be in out cleaning and cooking while we are gone. Okay?" She said reassuring her self. I looked at Anna and back at my mom. I always liked Anna  she was so sweet but I somehow felt this was way my mom keep her eye on me.
" yea okay" I said fake smiling
The next day it's was Friday morning and I step into my walk in closet and dropped my towel to the ground and step until a semi tight black dress and a pair of  heels. I parted my hair in the middle and left it down in its natural state. I headed to my jewelry box and slipped on few rings and a pair of studs. Took a final look at my outfit, touched up on my natural makeup and headed outside. As I was getting into my car I saw a rusted busted corvette with the license plate "kol dude" outside my neighbors house. I immediately thought to my self no way it couldn't be! I shaked off the idea and open my car door until I heard
" well well isn't it little van van" 
I closed my door to see Josh Anderson shirtless with ripped jeans and with a towel in his hand. Josh used to be my best friend when we're little until he was sent off to boarding school in the 8th grade. He always thought he was cool dude and I didn't help because I would always call him that. It was a weird nickname I gave him a long time ago.I was so shocked to see him I thought he was never going to come home.
" well are you just going stare at me or are you going to give me a hug?" He said with a smile
I laughed and ran over to him and gave him him the biggest hug ever
" omg what are you doing here Josh!" I said still hugging him
" my authortain parents thought it was time for me to come home after my counselor kept writing nothing but good stuff about me" he said pulling away from the hug
" omg I have missed you so much josh you look so grown" I said pinching his cheeks
He pulled my hands away from his cheeks "yeah you look pretty grown yourself. When I saw you walking out the door I thought a big time model was paying y'all a visit" he said laughing looking me up and down. Josh was the most Cheesiest person I knew growing up, who told the worst jokes. Even with so much time that has passed that was still the same. Everything else wasn't though. He was taller, his hair was blonder then ever. Let's just say he wasn't little kid anymore.
" haha I see you still makes those bad jokes" I said
"  I see you still laugh at them" he said in a corky way. I rolled my eyes
"Anyway I have to get to school. Your going to  West high right? I asked
" mhm!" He said stuffing his towel in his back pocket
" okay!" I said smiling
" come  after school today I wanna show you something " he said
" won't I just see you today at school?" I asked confused
" no I don't start till Monday"

At school  during 3rd period

Teacher: okay class on page 222 read about the Industrial Age period and how this was very important to the U.S in the early 20th century and right a full page at the end of class. This will be your exit ticket!

I pulled out my notebook and pen and placed it on my desk. I tired to start writing but All I could think about was Josh. I was so glad that he was home. I couldn't wait to catch up with him. The day flew by pretty fast today, maybe because it was Friday, my favorite day of the week. I walked to student parking got in to my car and drove home. I got home and realized no one was home. It didn't dawn on me that Stella and my parents had went to San Fransisco for Stella so she can go see one direction and that they wouldn't be home until tomorrow. I defiantly wasn't going to go to that, that would of been a train wreck! I went upstairs into my room and sat down on my window seat and texted zac telling him to come over when he got back. I missed him like crazy I just couldn't wait to see him. I threw my phone on the bed and hop in the shower. 15 minutes later I got out the shower and put on a black lace bra and panties to match. And slipped in to a short seamless dress. I had to make sure I looked perfect for Zac. I analyzed myself in the mirror when I heard the doorbell ring. I thought to myself that was fast and rushed down stairs. I open the door and there stood Josh.
" hey um van um" he said shaking . I was confused on why he was so lost for words until I looked down at my outfit and realized why. I hid behind my giant front door. Completely red and embarrassed.
" hey Josh" I said shyly. He smiled really big and let out laugh here and there.
" van why are you wearing that?" He asked. Still laughing.
" shut up" I said now even more embarrassed. He kept laughing. After he got all his giggles out he said
" anyway I wanted to give you this" in his hand was a little white box. " open it" he said. I took the box from his hands. And let got of my door re revealed my self to him. I open the the box to see a gold dainty bracelet with an all diamond pendent of my name. It was simply gorgeous. " your birthday is coming up and I couldn't wait till then." He said. All I could do was give him was a big bear hug. He pulled away and put the bracelet on me. He came inside and we just talked for hours he told me about his school, what it was like and the girls he had dated. I told him about west high and me about me Austin. I wanted to tell him about Zac and how amazing he is but that moment didn't felt right.
" well I better go, before my parents start to Notice I have been gone for too long" he said
" okay! Again thank you so much Joshey poo" I said smiling
" wow I haven't heard that in forever" he said stunned.
I walked him out and went upstairs. And realized I haven't heard anything from Zac. I grabbed my phone and got in bed and began texting him asking him where he was before I could press send I heard a familiar voice call my name
" hey Nessa"
