You're Different

Surprise Date: Part 2

The food was delicious. Kendall stole a few of my fries, which I didn't mind because she ate hers, but not the burger. Surprisingly, Kendall's salad was actually good. The dressing made everything taste better. 

"Would you like anything else? Desert or anything to take home?" Christopher asked.

I looked at Kendall and she shook her head. Christopher nodded.

"I will be back with your check." He walked away.

My phone buzzed, just as I was about to ask Kendall a question. I looked at her, asking for permission to check it. She nodded. I took my phone out and checked it.

Tracy: Dude! Am I the only one whp didn't know that Wolfy was in the hospital???

My eyes widen.

"Babe? Is everything alright?" Kendall asked.

Miss Temper: what happened??

"Babe!" Kendall called out.

I ignored her and waited for Tracy to reply back.

Tracy: All I know is that she was hanging out with some girl and she just passed out.

A few moments later, Tracy sent another text.

Tracy: Okay, new update. She's fine, she was just tired and didn't get enough sleep. I just walked into to her room number

I sighed out in relief. Good thing she's alright. I almost broke down into tears. I really thought she got into an accident or even something life threatening. 

"Babe?" Kendall called out again.

"S-sorry baby. I just found out Wolfy is in the hospital. Nothing too serious." I tell her.

Christopher walked up to us and put the check on the table. He walked away. Kendall and I reach for the check. I look up at her.

"What are you doing?" I asked her, pulling the check towards me.

"I'm paying." She says, pulling the check towards her.

"I don't think so." I told her pulling the check out of her hands.

"Babe, that's not fair." She crosses her arms.

"Can I at least give a tip?" Kendall pouts.

"Here's a tip, no. I'll do it." I told her as I took my card out.

I grabbed the pen and wrote $80 tip. I closed it and put it to the side before Christopher comes back. I looked at Kendall and she was still pouting.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you more." Kendall smiles back.

"I know. Who wouldn't?" I laughed.

Kendall rolled her eyes. Just then, I remember I have a gift for Kendall. I stopped laughing and grabbed it out of my pocket. I reached over to Kendalls hand and put it there. Kendall looked at her hand before a big smile formed onto her face.

"Baby, what is this?" Kendall asked, tearing up a little.

I whipped her tear. "Just a gift for our one month."

I got Kendall a necklace that was a heart, which had my initial in the middle.

"Aww baby." Kendall leans over to me and kissed my lips.
