I'm back. Back again. -Author

Percy didn't like the fact that he was helping the man who just tried to kill him, but Annabeth insisted, waving her gun around in persuasive manner.

Jason's leg was bandaged, but his face had still gone white as a sheet. One arm was slung around Percy's shoulders and he leaned most of his weight against him.

Percy felt awkward. His identity had been altered. No longer was he a crewman, but a stowaway, a mysterious man no one knew.

Annabeth shook with rage. She walked behind them, every few seconds nuzzling the gun between Percy's shoulder blades. The mere thought of being played for a fool made her feel betrayed down to her bones.

She was going over the various ways of killing them in her head. Gunshot to the heart, stab wound, asphyxiation, drowning, when suddenly she looked up.

Percy whispered. "Annabeth there's something wrong."

"Shut up." She snapped.

The trees had thickened and the world had unknowingly grown more dim. "There's no background noise." Annabeth glanced at the two men.

"We're getting closer to the heart of the island." Jason spoke softly. "Closer to Revocatus."

"You, what's your name?" Annabeth looked at Jason.

"Jason Grace."

"Has Revocatus ever been referred to as something else?"

"I've heard it been called, revocavit ad vitam-"

She whispered the words. "...recalled to life..."

"What?" Jason tried to cut in.

"Revocatus." You could see the gears within Annabeth's brain turning. "In many old texts it is referred to as the fountain of youth. I think, maybe, it could bring the dead back to life." The idea was flattering for a moment, but Annabeth's face soon turned sour. "That's a stupid idea-" She looked up only to see Jason's face go pale.

He spoke softly. "I wish you wouldn't have said that."
