Elle came to in a strange realm. The clouds violently crashed into one another. Lighting slamming into the ground with force, sending trimmers across the land. Bones and armor littered the lands as far as one could see. Crows sat on Bodies, and pecked at the flesh of the fallen. Everywhere she turned hallow eyed skulls seemed to watch her every step. Off on the horizon she could see a large castle, near it was a signal large dead tree. Suddenly a light glinted from a window of the nightmarish castle. With no other signs of life, it was her only chance to find out what had happened to her, and how she come to be there.
Elle crossed the fields of bone and metal. Glancing up at the large crosses as she past. Ash coated everything. The smell of tar and death was over powering. The metal armors were scorched. Now closer she could see the castles outer walls had burned at some time but held its ground. Arrows stuck out of the earth like a field of wheat. Never had she heard of such a war. Walking through the castle gates it was a shock to see vining roses climbing the side of the castle along with many plants she had never seen before. Keeping to the task at hand she interred.
"Welcome." A voice spoke as lighting streaked across the window revealing a figure setting upon a backless throne.
"Where am I?" Elle replied kneeling to the figure.
"This is the abyss, a realm where the dying can be pulled just before death can claim them." He continued.
Elle walked slowly through the poorly lit throne room. Till she could barely make out a figure shrouded in shadow.
"Please, come and set." The figure gestured to the throne next to his.
As Elle walked up, she saw something that glowed like a blue ominous flame. She thought it was a jewel, until the figure pushed its hair out of his face and she could see that it was his eyes glowing like blue fire. Not to act impolite she turned as to not stare, and took a seat next to the shadow. She took notice to the figures hands, they had two fingers and a thumb that formed like claws. It's clawed hands work in the same way hers did. though they were terrifying, like they were something that would be reaching out at you in a nightmare.
"Don't be scared." The shadow spoke with a passionate yet soft voice.
"Not to sound rube, your majesty my I ask you something?" She said bowing her head to the figure.
"Of course, you can ask anything." He replied, telling her there was no need of formality's.
"How did I get here?" she asked respectfully.
It raised his lifted hand as electricity arced across the room igniting the bowls of oil throughout the throne room. She jumped back in the throne she sat upon. Her jolting cause him to look back at her with its blue fiery eyes.
"I pulled you into this place." He held out his Claw like hand as he stood from his throne.
"I'm am Raziel, once lord over the lands of Enoch," He proclaimed as she gave her hand, noticing how soft his was.
"Lord Raziel, why did you bring me here." She asked in confusion.
"To give you the choice, the choice to life or death. A choice so few ever have the chance to make." he walked her through the set of massive wood and iron doors that she had entered the main hall from.
"I have to live, not for myself but for my people." she replied looking into his eyes.
"I can give you life, but it is life as I know it. A life as I higher being unable to die like myself." He explained his voice held such passion.
"What do you mean, I would be unable to die?" she asked taking a closer look at the man standing before her.
"You would become a vampure like I am. You would be faster, stronger, and if trained as I am you to could take on whole armies." He held out his hand, point out the bodies to her.
"You mean you did all of this?" she stepped back.
"Yes, a small price to pay to keep my people safe. While they ran to safety I held the invading armies off and pulled them into this realm." His eye's burned brighter as he explained on.
"But I still alive, why would make me like you?" Elle asked already forgetting what took place in the field.
"Elle, your body is dying. I only had enough power left to pull you soul in this plain. I well not turn you with out you consent." His voice changed, almost to a dreadful tone.
She knew he was telling her the truth. She turned her eye's from him back to the nightmarish landscape. she had a choice to make, die knowing her people were doomed or out live the people she loved. Her mind raced back and forth, as she tried to chose. But she knew she had to chose quickly. She turned back to Raziel, her mind made up. With her fist clinched tight she had made her choice.
"I have to live!" She said determined to push forward.
"Then there is only one thing I must tell you. My bite will turn you, but we will forever be bound to each other. In mind, body, and soul." He said as Elle stepped forward.
Suddenly Elle found her self looking out the hole that dropped her into the cave.
Before she knew it, Raziel had lifted her wrapped his arms around her, his teeth were sinking into her neck. She wrapped her arms around him. she knew vampires bit to drink blood or turn another, but she always thought it would be painful. Instead she found herself enjoying it. The feeling wasn't like anything she had ever felt. Her legs began to tingle, as she curled her toes and arched her back push herself into him. Her body became to heated, but she gripped onto him tighter. She was experiencing things she had never felt before. Things she couldn't explain. She could feel it deep within her body. She bit her lip in an attempt to control herself, but failed unable to maintain composer. she prayed for it to continue forever, even begging him not to stop.
