A sharp knock wakes me from my thoughts. I get up, curious about who would be knocking, especially after just being taken into the great unknown. I would to the door and open it to see a bubbly looking girl on my doorstep. "Hello, I'm Kasey and I'm your neighbor." She smiles and I nod in acknowledgment. "I just thought seeing as everyone is a little bit down in the dumps that maybe we could hang out and make new friends. Maybe go to the shopping district. I heard that you don't actually have to pay." She seems really excited and it would be nice to get to know some people so I agree and she starts to lead the way.

Kasey walks like a speeding train and before long we have a group of very mixed personalities and ages following at our heels. We near the edge of the shopping district when one of the boys sniggers. "Dude, they even have a sex shop." He nudges what seems to be an old friend in the ribs and he turns towards it before he looks at his friend. "Lincoln you actual dumbass. It's not that big 'a deal." He says as he try's to suppress a giggle of his own. A lot of the others following us roll their eyes or pull probably the sourest expressions I have seen.
The door falls open to the chime of a bell as we turn into the supermarket. As mentioned there is no staff. Everyone splits up to find what they want within the isles but I just take a cola from the fridges down the front of the store.
I sit down on one of the conveyors and open the drink, quenching my thirst I've had ever since I got here. I hear the sound of someone sitting beside me and I turn to see a boy around my age and damn. He is the definition of hot. He pulls out a packet of cigarettes and opens it up, holding it towards me. Not so hot. "No thanks." I say before having another mouthful of the fizzy liquid. "My name is Bailey, who might you be?" He takes out a cig and lights it. "I'm Annalise." He smiles. "Cute name." As the stench of cigarette smoke starts to fill the air Kasey struts over and stands in front of me. "Time to go, everyone's on their way out now." I nod and jump down, leaving Bailey on his own.

After a while Kasey and I are walking on our own with large bags full of stuff that we found. Who would think they'd have such high quality clothing here? "Last stop, the hunting shop." She looks so calm saying that. "Hunting shop?!" You could say that I'm a little confused. She nods. "You see. My uncle is the one who owns this thing and my father decided that I shouldn't get out of it just because of family and relations. I was warned that when they say 'events' that they become really dangerous and sometimes have dangerous animals attack. I want to be prepared." I nod as I toss my empty cola bottle into a bin as we walk past and turn into 'Garrisons Hunting Supplies'.
The walls are lined with various blades and bows. Kasey, for a very girly person, is extremely excited. Something I did not expect. I scan through the rows of weapons as I start getting towards the fancier, patterned and decorated ones and instantly fall in love with an iridescent flip knife. "Got one." I mumble, hoping that Kasey heard me as I walk over to her. She is looking between two machetes, one with a purple handle and the other one black handled with a dragon carved into the blade. "Which one. Which.... one." She says to herself. "The one with the dragon is pretty." And that is all she needs as inspiration to take it.

"You know. You're pretty cool to hang out with. Most of the girls here are shy or are to similar to me. I can't handle that." Kasey says as we sit down next to a fountain within the shopping district. She smiles up at me and for the first time I notice the silver in it. Braces. Cute. I smile back and she starts rummaging through her back and pulls out a 'family pack' of chocolate biscuits and offers me one which I take hungrily.

A/N: I didn't know what to finish with and didn't want to drag the chapter out unnecessarily. Well I hope you enjoyed!
