Izzy couldn't be more excited for the next scenes they were going to film. She was getting a new suit to wear as Artemis, she got to make a speech, and the best part was: she got to make out with Keiynan.

She had changed into her next outfit, a pair of ripped light blue high waisted shorts that came down to her mid-thigh a black crop top hoodie that said "your loss, babe" in white font, as well as a pair of heeled black booties.  Her blonde hair was in a high ponytail as well and she had winged black eyeliner that made her blue eyes stand out like the sky.

She walked down to the set, munching on a blueberry muffin from the basket Keiynan had gotten her. She tossed the wrapping and finished chewing, as Grant looked at her with a dorky smirk on his face.

"What?" Izzy said, as Stephan sat on the table on set.

"Oh, nothing," Grant laughed and Candice nudged him.

"Stop teasing her."

Izzy blushed and fiddled the black choker around her neck.

This scene was coming after their first fight with the invaders, after Artemis' first epic Canary Cry.

She looked around for Keiynan, but if she read the script right, he was set to walk in mid-scene.

"And action!" the director yelled.

"How'd you do that, Artemis? That scream?" Stephen, again posing to be Oliver asked.

"Back in my world... That was my mom's power. Before she lost it. I inherited it, apparently." She sighed, looking away from Stephen.

"I'm a metahuman too, da- Oliver." she corrected.

"I don't care what you are, Artemis." Stephen spoke. "You're my daughter. My daughter." he stood to his feet, smiled sadly, and touched Izzy's face. "It's time I start claiming that. And you claim it too. No more hiding, no more lies. No more looking like my sidekick, Artemis. It's time you become the hero you've always been destined to be."

Izzy looked down and forced her eyes to water. She felt Stephen lift her chin and she did so, a tear sliding down her cheek. "You're my daughter, Artemis. I'm so sorry I didn't embrace it sooner."

She nodded, her eyes glistening. "Okay."

They turned as Keiynan walked on set and Izzy hurried to wipe her eyes.

"Artemis! You're okay," he said slowly. Izzy nodded, shrugging her shoulders. "You saved our lives."

"You would've done the same," she replied.

"Without thinking once about it." he said softly, eyes hard.

"Wally..." Izzy told him. "Go ahead and yell at me, but-"

"Artemis, no. I'm not going to yell at you. You made your choice. And I support you."

She sighed loudly. "Just let me finish, Wally!"

He looked at her, startled and Izzy took a step closer to him, laying a hand on his shoulder.

"Everybody I knew from my world is dead. I wasn't going to let it happen again to someone else I love. The people I love. I... I can't afford to lose you. Not when there was a chance for me to save you." her eyes glistened with tears. "You mean too much to me."

Candice touched Keiynan's other shoulder. "She's right, Wally. We can't afford to lose anyone. And I think you owe her an apology."

Keiynan sighed, shrugging away from Candice and reaching out to brush away Izzy's tears. "Come here, Arte." Izzy took a step forward and he lifted her with ease before running out.
