The call

The next morning, Allison was waken up by the sound of her phone filling the air. She let out a slight "ugh". Her hand fumbled around at the nightstand, with her face still facing her pillow. She turned around, grabbed her phone and answered with a voice even more tired then usual mornings.

"Allison speaking" she managed to nearly whisper in to the phone, while her head pounded back at her, like some sort of revenge for last night.

"Hi Darling, it's Angela, from London academy of arts" a little to friendly voice replied back at her.

"Oh! Hi!" Allison knew exactly what the call was about, but she pretended not to.

"Yes, I am calling to remind you that we have not received the depositum for your spot here at our school yet. If you do not pay by Tuesday, we have to give your spot to somebody else."

"I am so sorry, I have had some issues with my bank lately, but can I pay in cash, if so, are there anyone present at the school today I can come give it to?" She felt a tiny bit of panic.

"Well, of course dear. I will be here at the academy another hour, put it in an envelope with your name on" Allison felt a wave of relief fill her body as these words escaped Angela's mouth and reached her ear.

"Thank you, so much, see you soon!" She exclaimed.

"Yes" Angela replied and hung up.
