After I heard Carly say what she had, I walked back into the room with my bag of potato chips and glass of soda. I was surprised that I bothered her that much and I felt pretty guilty about it. I guess I felt guilty because she was right. I totally turned what was once Carly and Ryan's living room into what looks like the after math of a tornado. I figured her big idea was lend me some money to get me out of the house, so when I sat back down, I expected her to go onto her computer and look for cheap apartments online. The thing is she didn't go look at apartment listings, and what she did do surprised me. Carly looked me up and down after I had sat down with my snack and said, "Wow."

"Wow what?"

"Your style is just wow."

Now I am really confused. Carly is my best friend and she is also super girly, and has the best fashion sense I know. The only thing is her style, while very good, just isn't my type. She's into skirts, dresses, and anything else that can make her butt look good. Everything she wears is tight fitting. I mean she has the body for it, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She has beautiful dark hair that fades nicely into a light blond. Her hair by the way,is always perfectly placed in long flowing waves. She has freckles all over her face that compliment her beautiful, stormy gray eyes. Her eyes are complete with perfectly curled, long eyelashes. She has a petite build with curves in the just right places.

Now I on the other hand, am the complete opposite. I have never been the girly type. I basically live in sweatpants, shorts, and t-shirts. My go to shoe choice is sneakers. My long light brown hair is always pulled up into a high ponytail. I never where makeup really, while Carly always has hers done perfectly, fit to whatever she is wearing that day. I have icy blue eyes and freckles surrounding my nose. I also live to play sports while Carly lives to go shopping. I am fairly tall and slim, with curves, that Carly tells me accentuate but I would rather not. I mean we are just opposite when it comes to style and I always had a feeling that if she could, Carly would change everything about my appearance in a second. Although actually hearing her say something to me about it hurts.

"Ryan, we have to go to sleep."

"Why its only like 5:30?"

"Hey Ryan, can't you just come with me?" Carly's voice was agitated towards his clear stupidity. He realized what Carly was hinting at when she glanced over at me then back at him. So Ryan nodded and followed Carly into their bedroom. I racked my brain to try and figure out why Carly was being so sarcastic all of a sudden. I mean why did she suddenly decide to bash my appearance. What was going on inside her head.

CARLY'S POV

"Hey Carls. What is your issue? I mean first you--"

"Ry shut up a sec? I have an idea on how we can help Age remember? I just didn't want to say it in front of her because I knew if I did, she would never agree to go through with it."

"Okay then what's you 'plan to help'?"

"Let's set Age up on a blind date!"

"Are you joking?"

"No, come on,it'll be great if she gets back into the dating game."

"There is no way in hell,Age will ever let you set her up on a blind date."

"I know, that's why she won't know she's going on a blind date."

"How?"

"I will just tell her I'm taking her to go out to eat or something, she loves food."

"Um, okay, but two other things. Number one who is she even going on a date with? Number two are you going to let her go on a blind date in sweatpants?,because there is no way your going to convince her to change."
