Scarlet's P.O.V

It has been over a week since that day. June and Elli are now living with us. June is overly smart. She, with the Doctor and I's help, is reading more and more on her own. Even Elli has become more verbal and less shy. She is the Doctor's best friend. She loves him to death. As for he and I, he never leaves me alone for too long. I didn't think it was possible but, we have become closer then ever. I never thought I would be where I am now. I laid in bed. Not able to sleep.

"Scarlet. Sleep. You've had like...six hours...this week alone." The Doctor groaned and pulled me closer to his chest.

"Seven." I corrected him. That earned me a sigh.

"Babe, you are worrying me..." He looked at me. I looked back. There was enough light coming from the far lamp that was always on that I could see his eyes. His eyes were a deep green and they looked sad and weary.

"I'm sorry...I just can't sleep. I try and try. I just can't." I looked down. He lifted my chin and kissed me. I kissed back and soon I found myself laying on top of him. He held my waist and kissed harder. I pulled away and rested my forehead against his.

"I thought we were going somewhere." He smirked.

"We were...but...you need sleep too.."

"I woke up. I'm not tired." He played with my shirt. I bit the corner of my lip and nodded.

So....most of my clothing was on the floor....so were his...and...we got a surprise. Elli opened the door. I cured under my breath and grabbed a shirt.

"Mommy...Daddy....I had a bad dweam...." She mumbled and rubbed her eyes. She had her bear, which was mine, and her blanket, which used to be the Doctor's.

"Come here sweetie." I held my arms out. She came running over and snuggled between the Doctor and I.

"What was it about?" The Doctor asked.

"This wady came and sang this bad song....and..." She seemed to forget. Poor thing. "Tick tock, goes the clock....what now shall we play?" she sang quietly.
