Jishwa's POV

The week without Tyler in school was Hell. We had a lab in Chemistry that week and because my lab partner wasn't here I had to work with the biggest bully in the class.

"Where's your little boyfriend?"

"Tyler isn't my boyfriend. Were both straight"

"I bet that's why that hot piece of ass left you. She's probably gonna find herself a real man."

I could feel tears begin forming in my eyes as they splashed onto the worksheet we were working on.

"Stop crying you pussy"

I felt him kick my stool out from under me, but it was too late to stop. Before I knew it I was on the chemistry room floor.

"Are you okay dude?" He said like he was surprised that I was now laying on the floor.

"I would be if you didn't kick my stool out from under me"

"I didn't do anything like that man. I can't believe you would blame me for something like that."

What a douche.

Tyler came back to school finally. I walked to my Spanish class to see Debby yelling at Tyler.

"Don't yell at him. He's only a child."

I grab his hand and pulled him into the classroom.

"Don't talk to me or my son, ever again."

I hated having her behind me. I hated how she makes me feel. I feel frustrated. I would do anything to hold her hand, or kiss her. If I would have known that kiss would have been our last, I would have kept our lips locked for a few minutes longer. I hated how she said all she did was worry about me. I feel like nothing but a burden on everyone. I hate living like this. It feels like time stopped moving on Halloween, and Thanksgiving is next week.

Spanish class went by slower than usual. I waited for Tyler at the end of the stairs, I smiled when I saw him in the distance. I could tell something was wrong when I saw his face.

"People are so weird. I think they can tell something happened to me."

"what makes you say that?" I asked as we held hands down the Hallway

"They looked at me funny."

"They always look funny" I teased.

He smiled, rolled his eyes, and we went our separate ways down the hall. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, until I got home. I had weeks of overdue homework but no motivation to do it. I layed in bed and stared up at the ceiling fantasizing about when life was going to change for the better. I felt my phone vibrate in my hoodie.

"Hey man do you wanna hangout at my place?"

"Uh sure"

I hope in my car and drive to Tyler's house. We really didn't speak much, but I didn't mind. I could sit in silence with Tyler for hours. We held hands because my hands were freezing like always. I kept looking up from my phone to see Tyler staring at something in the corner. Every time he did that I squeezed his hand to pull him back to the reality of us.

Tyjo's POV

A week goes by and they say I can go home. Unfortunately I'll basically be on lockdown for the rest of my life. I had group therapy on mondays and personal therapy on thursdays. The group therapy was nerve racking on the first few days. I am not much of a social person and I'm not a fan of telling strangers my problem. Personal therapy was nice because when my therapist and I would talk we would play chess, which I sucked at, but enjoyed.

After the first week, I managed to convince my mom I needed to go back to school. I really should've thought about school before I did that. Josh gave me any missing work I had. I told Josh to tell everyone I was just sick or something. When I came back, the first person to go insane about my return was my bus buddy. She immediately jumped on me with tears. "OH EM GEE I MISSED YOU SOOO MUCH!" she was basically strangling me. I laughed then then sat down. I didn't tell her the truth because I didn't want her to think I was crazy.

When I got to school, a friend of mine screamed down the hall. "TYLER?" I sighed as I was tackled by a 5 foot guy. He knew what really happened because I told Josh to tell the close friends of ours. "I thought we were waiting for christmas." He said teasingly. I chuckled then said I forgot.

I skipped breakfast and sat in the spanish hall like I do every morning. It was peaceful until Debby came charging in. As soon as she saw me she ran to me, then slapped me in the face. To the others in the hallway that looked insane, to my friends and me this was a completely normal reaction. "What were you thinking?" Debby sounded like a stern mother. "I don't know." I looked down acting as if I was being scolded by an adult. "Well, don't ever even think of doing that again or I will destroy you." I laughed a bit even though she was being completely serious.

Josh came up to us and saw Debby yelling at me. " Don't yell at him. He's only a child." He grabbed my hand which kind of hurt because on the cuts and pulled me into his classroom. "Don't talk to me or my son, ever again." I gave out a tired laugh, then rubbed my wrists. Debby smirked then sat at her desk. "You guys are so weird." Josh snarled at her then turned to me. "Hey! Don't talk about my mommy like that!" I said teasingly.

The bell rang and I ran to class, which was upstairs. That was exhausting. I sat at my desk, then realized people were staring at me. The only person who actually said anything was the Russian kid who likes to cheat off of me. I let him because he is sweet (and has a nice butt) " yo, Tyler where have you been man?" " I was sick Joesph, sorry if I worried you." I smiled then the announcements came on. I stood up and felt dizzy, so I just sat back down." The teacher looked worried, but didn't say anything. "Are you still sick?" Joseph asked. "Barley. Don't worry I'm not contagious."

After class I headed to see Josh. He was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs.

"People are so weird. I think they can tell something happened to me." "what makes you say that?" Our hands locked as we headed down the hall. "They looked at me funny." "They always look funny" I smiled at him while still giving that look of 'you know what I mean'. We then went our separate ways.

The day went fast. People asked questions, and I lied. Eventually the questions quieted down, so naturally I tried to make my life easier.

"Tyler we need to consider putting you on medication." I looked at my therapist in slight shock. "I know you think you are getting better, but I know you're not. This medicine can help you get on the right track of life." I looked down. I didn't want medicine because I knew you could change taking them. I also knew I needed them. "Okay." That's all I could say. I felt as if I was being defeated in a war.

The doctor recommended I stay home the first day I take the medicine. We had to be sure that nothing bad would happen. When I took the pill, I felt like I was going to pass out. I hadn't felt this tired since I tried to off myself. I decided to ask Josh to come over. He usually can', but he did this time.

I layed on my bed holding Josh's hand. I was so quiet, but Josh didn't mind. He was watching youtube videos on his phone. I was staring at his eyes. They were nice eyes. I looked to the other side of my room. I saw him. Blurry. "Pills can't kill me. I think you already knew that though." He laughed. A laugh detorted and low. He didn't care. He didn't care that Josh was sitting right next to me. Then I realized Josh was laughing. Something in the videos he was watching. I tried to watch them too, but the screen was too bright. I closed my eyes resting on Josh's shoulder.

I woke up and Josh was gone. Instead my mom was walking in. She had food. " Josh went home an hour or so ago. It's pretty late." She set the food on my lamp stand. I looked at my phone to see it was nine in the evening. " The doctor said you won't be so tired after a while." I nodded to acknowledge her. I went back to sleep, forgetting about the food.
