Twenty Three: Masquerade (Kendall's POV)

We glide down the road, is swift Black BMW rides smoothly not making any ruckus.

The School comes into sight, and my palms become even more sweaty, because of my nerves.

He comes to a halt, in front of the school. A Person asks for the car keys, and they drive it away into parking.

He links his arm with mine, and We walk up the red carpet, on the concrete stairs of the school. Once we reach the entrance, Two people hand us our tickets.

When we enter the school, it still has the red carpet down the middle, but as golden decorations everywhere. Balloons, streamers, banners, etc. hang everywhere in every nook and cranny.

When we enter the gym, the vibrations from the dancing all around rings through our feet, I turn to Luke and smile.

We meet up with some of Luke's friends, them all having girls to socialize with me. "Hi my names Vanessa, your- Kendall right?" asks the tall blonde In a decked out black jammed dress.

"Yeah, nice to meet you" I say smiling.

We end up dancing for hours, our feet aching, our ears being hurt from the loud music, and our hips hurting because were dancing for now what feels like forever.

"Luke want to go get our pictures taken" I ask, guiding him over to the area filled with silver and golden décor, and a huge banner saying '2015 Masquerade.

We wait in line, and She starts walking towards the area. Who's she you ask? Paige Hyland, with Mickey.

"Oh if it isn't Miss. Vertes" says Paige standing behind us in line.

"Hello Paige" I say fake smiling, and turning my head back to the cameras

"What a lovely place to see you" she says smiling, and grasping onto Mickey.

"Yeah you too", lie.

When it's Luke and I's turn to go, he takes me by the waist and lurks his arm around my waist.

The guy takes several, all of which Luke and I are smiling happily.

After we are finished, we go and Vote for the Masquerade King, Prince, Queen, & Princess. I choose my friends Vanessa and Troy, and for Prince and princess I choose Me and Luke, sense the rest are part of Paige's clique.

"NOW IS THE TIME FOR THE ANNOUNCMENT OF THE MASQUERADE ROYALTY" yells Rosalie, our class President.

"Drum roll please" she asks, the Band jams out a cool beat.

"The King and Queen is..... Luke and Kendall" She says, my jaw literally dropping to the ground, me?

Luke links his and I's arms and guides me up to the stage.

"Congratulations" says Rosalie, smiling happily, and placing the crown on my head.

"& the Prince and Princess, goes to..... Troy and Vanessa" she announces, her voice echoing throughout the gym.

What an amazing night, I couldn't ask for anymore, except for a kiss from my King.

He takes me home, after all is said and done.

He arrive at my house, and the raindrops outside streak down the windows. "How are we possibly going to make it to the house, without getting drenched" I ask.

"I guess well have to find out" he says.

He opens the door for me, his Tux already being soaked.

Of course my heel has to break, and my dress gets caught on the sprinkler. "Luke help" I say paly fully, tugging my dress, and trying to un-latch my heel from my foot.

He takes my hand, and pulls me close, making his and I's chest touch. He takes his hand and lifts my chin.

"Kendall, I have always wanted to do this" he says, and with that He presses his lips onto mine, and Kisses me.

Luke is kissing me!

He pulls away, after about 10 seconds, and leans his forehead on mine.

"Kendall I love you" he says.

"Luke I love you too".

AUTHORS NOTE: YEAH I KNOW ITS CORNY:) But I am going to wrap up the story, maybe release the tension between Paige and Kendall, and add some twists, ending at Chapter Twenty Five, only 2 Left!!
