Chapter Two: welcome to high-school (Paige's POV)

The wind breezes through my window sending a shiver down my spine. I pound my fist to mute the Alarm clock, cause GOD is that thing annoying.

I pick my feet out of bed, and head into the bathroom. I strip off my clothes and walk into the shower. The shower water feeling like hooks and pins being shot at my skin, so I turn the turn the water down a smudge. I wash my body with pleasant smelling ocean breeze body wash, and condition my hair with L'Oreal Paris rose shampoo+conditioner.  

I remove myself from the shower, the cold air making Goosebumps emerge from my legs. I place my feet on the warm tile and Wrap the warmed towel around my body.

After applying some smoky makeup, I apply a even stroke of light tan/pink lipstick on my lips pressing them together to spread it around. My hair is done in a curly wavy down look that's just right.

Once I'm done I deliberate on which outfit to wear. I choose a cream colored lace strapless top, tucked in under a peachy colored high waist skirt that reaches mid-thigh. Then I add a light wash denim jean jacket and a pair of high platform chocolate colored heels with a velvet bow on the back.

I feel confident and hot with this look, time to shine.

The car jerks as I turn around the corner to Chloe and Maddie's streets. My convertible comes to a slow halt as I swerve into Chloe's driveway. She's standing there hair high in a ponytail, and her light pink silk dress matching her lace heels perfectly couldn't have matched it better myself. "First day of school Ms.Hyland are you ready" she asks, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. "When am I ever not" I say laughing, while my breaks stop and I press the gas to Maddie's.

We arrive at Maddie's and all I notice when we pull up is Kenzie waiting for the bus and kart-wheeling across the lawn in her white shorts and tight top. "OMG Kenzie's still so cute even though she's still like what 11 or something now" I say to Maddie, giggling to myself and remembering back to those days when we used to do dance, our In-mature days.

The High School sign comes into sight, and I put a smirk on my face. Time to rule this battleground. As I pull up I notice the group of jocks circled around the big water fountain, eyeing up every girl that walks past. as we drive past Mickey winks at me, Just a basic boyfriend gesture.

We pass the nerds, all dressed in plaids major fashion no no. The wanna-bee freshman dressed horribly and definitely eyeing up the jocks, I think 'back off babes their mine'. We pass the emo's all looking depressed etc. whatever.... and the normal for once theirs actually a group like that!

I park in the front and once I pull up a girl bumps into me as I close my door. "watch it" I splurge. I glance over my shoulder and see a girl picking up papers and looking weird in cuffed jeans and a navy blue sweater, weirdo. "Oh sorry, the names Kendall" she says holding out her scruffy looking hand. "Paige Mackenzie Hyland, and sorry I don't shake new-bee's hands " I say pivoting on my heel and walking away. I turn and look back and she takes down her hair, "you might have potential to be a popular, maybe just maybe will I consider" I say to her. "no way" she says, shaking her head picking up a long board. "Okay you'll regret that" I say smirking and turning away. Welcome to high school...
