Harry's POV
"Come on! Come on!"Louis yells as we run out of the house. I run into the yard following everybody else when it hits me. We left Candie. "Candie!"Liam weakly yells. "I'll go get her!"I run inside and the fires spreading fast.
I cough and open the door to the basement,luckily there's no fire down here yet. Candie's still asleep which means I'll have to carry her. I pick her up bridal style and head up the stairs.
"Crap."I mumble. The fires spread alot,but I think I can get through. "3,2,1!"I leap over the fire and out the front door,falling onto the ground. "Candie!"Liam screams,but Niall holds him down. "She's still asleep."Zayn looks at her concerned.
I get up and help him carry her towards Niall who is fixing up Liam with the first-aid kit. "Okay Liam your good to go,just don't go fighting anybody and you'll be fine."Niall says. "Can't make any promises."Liam gets off the ground.
"So now what?"Niall asks. "The house is gonna burn down and we're gonna be left in the freezing cold."
"Our car is down that hill."Louis says. "Yea we can make it to a gas station in that!"Zayn says. "Wait what about the house?"Liam asks. "It's gonna burn down,lets just leave it."I say.
"I'll carry Candie."Liam says. "Are you sure you're strong enough?"Louis asks. "I'm fine."He lifts Candie off the ground.
We head down the hill,of course it's icy and slick. "This is a long hill."Niall says. "Yea we had to walk up it."says Zayn. "What if the fire spreads?"I ask. "It's winter,I don't think it will."Louis replies.
"I hope not."Liam says. "L-Liam?"a feminine voice squeaks. "Candie your awake!"Liam exclaims. "What's going on?"she yawns. "Well,it's a very long story."Liam puts her down. "You wanna explain?"she asks.

After Liam explained to her the last hour of our lives we finally get to the bottom of the hill. "My car!"I run up to it and jump in the drivers seat.
Everybody else piles in and I turn on the engine. "It's still running!"Louis who's in the passenger seat yells.
"Careful it's icy."Liam warns. "I know."I reply. I start off down the icy dirt road,lots of pot holes and ditches.
"Wait a minute what's today?"Zayn asks. "Thursday."Niall says. "No the date you idiot!"Zayn glares. "I think it's the 26'th."Liam says. "December 26'th."Louis says. "We missed Christmas."We all said at once.
"Well it's not like we have family."I say. "I do."Candie sighs. "I'm sorry."Liam whispers,loudly I might add.
"Haz,your going awfully fast,there's an icy bridge ahead."Louis says. "It's just the roads so slick,and we're going downhill."I say. "Slow down a little then."He says. "I can't,I'm going 5."I say. "Go slower!"Louis exclaims. "I can't!"I yell.
"Then just stop the car!"he says. I push down on the break but it doesn't stop,it only increases. "Haz."Niall says. "Um,its not stoping."I say.
"What do you mean!"Zayn yells. "I-I don't know."I say. "You mean it's not,stoping?"Liam emphasizes the stoping. I shake my head in fear.
"Your gonna have to jump."I say. "Jump?Candie asks. "Yea,open the doors and jump."I say. "Now?"Niall asks. "Yes now!"I yell. I unlock the door and I hear all 3 open.
"So one at a time?"Louis yells over the wind. "Okay wait 3 seconds after one jumps."I yell. "Okay,I'll go first."Louis steps halfway out. "See ya."he smiles and jumps off. "Okay,lets keep it going."I instruct. "Zayn and Niall jump out at opposite sides.
"Candie,jump!"Liam yells. She breathes heavily. "I'll see you in a second."she pecks Liam on the cheek and jumps out. "Okay Liam,you gotta go."I yell. "What about you?"he asks. "I'll be fine."I assure him.
"How are you gonna get out?"he asks. "I'll figure out something."I say. "But Harr-"I cut him off. "Just go!"
"I'm not leaving you behind!"He yells. "You have to! There's a frozen bridge down there!"He yells. "Well if I jump the car will swerve into the trees!"I scream. "You can at least try!"he screams.
I look ahead and we're feet away from the bridge. "Well it's too late now!"I yell. Liam slams all the doors shut and buckles up. "Are you ready?"he asks. "Just hold on."I say.
We slide onto the bridge,no stability,its like being in outer space. No gravity to keep you grounded. The car spins in circles,as I try the breaks again I see my life flash before my eyes. And the ice is cold.
