No one could find Maddie for days. Mackenzie was crying herself to sleep every night praying her sister Maddie would return. Melissa refused to take Mackenzie to dance till Maddie was found. Mackenzie knew what she has to do. She had to run away to find Maddy. She packed her bag full of enough clothes for her and Maddie, if she can find her.
Mackenzie sneaked down to her kitchen next to her living room. She could hear her mother crying like she did everyday. Thats basically how she spent everyday now. Mackenzie just wanted Maddie back because it would make everyone happy again. Melissa didn't really pay attention to Mackenzie anymore.
Mackenzie opened her pantry door. There was lots of food because Melissa didn't pay much attention and wouldn't cook so mackenzie made herself stuff like Mac' n Cheese and 2 minute Noodles. Mackenzie had a little backpack with her and she filled it with chips, lollies, dried fruit, nuts, water, cookies and cans of spaghetti along with forks and spoons.
Mackenzie was now ready. This is for the best Mackenzie thought. First Chloe committed suicide and then Maddie runs away. Mackenzie has to do this.
