(Tobias POV)

Its been an hour since she went into surgery. The doctors are trying everything they can to bring her back to life. If she dies, I don't know what I'll do. They found fingerprints on the gun and it was David who shot her. He skipped town after that though. No one can find him. If I ever find him, I will be kicking major ass. He can feel the pain the Tris is feeling.

(Tris POV)

"Tris, Tobias and everyone is worried about you." mom said.

"So, I'm pretty much staying right here until I leave that room?" I ask.

"Pretty much." dad replied.

I walked around this room for days it felt like but has only been an hour.

"How am I not dead?" I ask.

"Life support is keeping you alive. Along with the surgery." mom replied.

I sighed and sat down on a chair. My parents were staying until I woke up.

"When will I wake up?" I ask.

"A few days maybe. But you'll practically be in pain because of the surgery." dad replied.

I nodded and closed my eyes.

(Tobias POV)

"Tobias, her surgery's done." Christina said.

I got out of the chair and we ran to her room. I sat in a chair and so did Christina. I wouldn't be leaving Tris's side anytime soon. A few hours past and I eventually fell asleep, but only got woke up again by Christina bringing food into the room. I ate fairly quickly and soon Christina left the room with our trays. I fell asleep again and dreamt about Tris and I.

"Beatrice." I say.

"I told you not to call me that unless its a special occasion." she said.

"It is a special occasion, its our wedding day silly." I told her.

"That's right. Well you really shouldn't see the bride before the wedding anyway." she said.

I rolled my eyes as she pushed me out of the room. I quickly gave her a kiss before going back to my room. My tuxes was on the door and I looked in the mirror. In a few short hours, Tris would no longer be Tris Prior, she would be Tris Eaton. I loved the sound of that. One day, we would even have kids. I know that I'm 19 now and shes 17, but neither of us care. My parents were trying to stop the wedding, but Tris and I decided to do it behind their backs.

I soon woke up by Christina holding Tris's hand and tears rolling down her cheeks.

"You ok Chris?" I asked.

"Yea, they said that Tris would wake up in a few hours or even tomorrow morning." she replied.

I smiled.

"Just get some rest then because. I'll need your help keeping an eye on her until its save." I told her.

"I know what you mean." she said.

(Tris POV)

"Tris, how can you love Four?" Al asked.

"I didn't realize you cared about my love life." I replied.

"I do, I do care because I love you." Al said.

Al, Will, Uriah, Lynn, and Marlene arrived after my parents left this room.

"Al, just leave her and Four alone." Will said.

"They make a cute couple anyway."  Marlene said.

"Thanks Mar." I said.

"Anytime." Marlene said.

"So, if you aren't dead then why are you in this freaking looking room?" Lynn asked.

"I don't even have an idea." I replied.

We all sat down and I let out a sigh. I just wanted to see Tobias again. I really missed him.

"I was here for a while." Uriah said.

"Yea, then you died." Lynn said.

"Lynn, shut up. That's a really sensitive word for anyone here." Will said.

I sighed.

(Tobias POV)

"I wonder what she's dreaming about." Christina said.

"I honestly don't even know." I told her.

I sighed and squeezed Tris's hand only to get a little squeeze back from her. I gasped and leaned down.

"Tris, if you can hear me, squeeze my hand again." I said.

She squeezed it again.

(Tris POV)

"Tris, if you can hear me, squeeze my hand again." Tobias said.

I looked at evreryone in this room and squeezed Tobias's hand. I smiled as I felt him kiss my cheek. I touched my cheek and looked at my parents and friends.

"Looks like you're going to wake up soon." mom said.

I ran up to her and hugged her.

"I love you mom." I said.

"I love you too Beatrice." she told me.

I smiled and gave everyone a hug as they slowly faded away and I began to wake up.

(Tobias POV)

I heard a small gasp escape Tris's lips as she squeezed my hand again.

"Shhh, its ok." I whispered.

"T-Tobias." she stuttered.

I looked at Tris and smiled as she let a few tears run down her face. I leaned down and kissed her as Christina held her hand.

"I'm so glad you're awake." I said.

"Me too." she said.
