Your Guardian Angel

Chapter 2

(Tris POV)

Its been a week since I woke up. I don't even know why I went through surgery and Tobias won't even tell me. He went to go get me some food and I'm just laying here in pain. Christina came in to visit me and I was thankful for that. She kept me company while Tobias got me some food. I got tired of waiting so I told her to wake me up when the food got here. She just nodded and I went to sleep.

"Tris." mom said.

"Mom? Am I back in that room?" I asked.

"No. You're dreaming. Don't worry. Anyway, I'm here to tell you that I'm your guardian angel. I'm going to be watching over you and Tobias. One day, you will have kids and I'll watch over them too." she replied.

I just nodded and she smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back and soon, she was fading away. That must mean that I'm on the verge of waking back up.

When I woke up, I could smell food.

"Hungry?" Tobias asked.

"Yes." I reply.

He smiled and handed me a slice of pizza. I smiled and ate it quickly. He chuckled and handed me a few more slices.

(Tobias POV)

Tris must've been hungry because she ate at least four slices. After she ate, she fell back asleep and the doctor came in.

"Well, she'll be able to leave in a few days. She's healing fairly quickly and that's making good progress." he says.

"Thanks doc." I tell him.

He leaves and I smile. Tris would be able to leave and we could go wherever we wanted. I honestly wanted to take her back to the Dauntless compound, but I'm not sure yet. Maybe I could ask her to marry me. I know its to soon, but I honestly don't care at this point.

2 Years Later

(Tris POV)

I looked at my engagement ring once more as Christina did my hair. I looked up at the mirror to see my blonde hair curled. Christina had just finished my hair and looked at me.

"You look so beautiful Tris." she says.

"Thanks Chris." I tell her.

She hugs me and turns me around to put on my makeup. I would soon be Tris Eaton. That was only an hour away basically. It was going to be small wedding and Christina was pretty much our minister. Zeke came and knocked on the door as Christina finished my makeup.

"Ready? Because Tobias is getting a little impatient." he told us.

I quickly got up and so did Christina. She fixed my dress and we left the room. We quickly walked to the chasm and there was Tobias waiting and looking handsome in his suit. I watched as Christina ran to stand by him and I watched as Zeke looped my arm through his to walk me down the aisle.

(Tobias POV)

I smiled and looked at Tris. She wasn't paying attention to Zeke that's for sure. She looked back at me with her beautiful eyes and I swear that I could see her blushing. She got closer and closer and soon, she was standing next to me. The ceremony was short and sweet, we finished our vows and exchanged rings.

"You may kiss the bride." Christina said.

I smiled and so did Tris. I leaned in and kissed her. Everyone clapped and then I saw my parents. They looked very unhappy.

"Don't worry, I'm here to protect you and Tris." Natalie Prior whispered.

Tris must've heard her too because her spirit was standing beside me. She looked just as beautiful as Tris. She was dressed in a light grey dress and her hair was in a bun.

"Tobias, why would you marry her?" Evelyn asked.

(Tris POV)

I looked at my mom as Tobias talked to his parents. She walked over to me and smiled.

"Don't worry. When you have a baby, they'll calm down." mom said.

I watched as she put her hand on my stomach.

"What are you talking about mom?" I asked quietly.

"Beatrice, you pregnant." she replied.

"How? When?" I asked.

Tobias looked over at me and walked over to us.

"You're only two weeks along." mom replied.

"Two weeks along on what?" Tobias asked.

"She's pregnant." mom replied.

Tobias smiled and the three of us went to our apartment. Once there I sat down and Tobias stood next to my mom.

"How did you know she was pregnant?" Tobias asked.

"I just know. She's got that pregnancy glow going on." mom replied.

Tobias smiled and so did I. I got up to hug my mom beofre she left. Once she was gone, Tobias helped me out of my dress and I slipped on a pair of shorts and one of his t-shirts. I climbed into bed with him beside me and I cuddled up to his chest.

"I love you Tris Eaton." he said.

"I love you too Tobias Eaton." I said.

He smiled and kissed my forehead before we eventually fell asleep.
