The queen of Azgeda

Chapter 2

Clarke's Pov

Its been a month since I became queen.

I'm sitting on my throne when Tom walks into the room. "What is it Tom?" I ask. He bows his head. "My queen a group of trikru warriors have entered our territory." He says.

"What! where at?" I ask with anger in my voice. "Near the moonshine village." He tells me. I let out a growl. "Bring them to me alive. I want to question them." I say and he nods his head then walks out.

"Damn it!" I scream. "Love what's wrong." Echo asks as she walks into the throne room from the war council room.....she's always in there.

"Tom has just informed me that there was a group of trikru spotted close to the moonshine village." I say.

"What are you going to do?"

"I don't know yet....a part of me wants to kill them all and another part is wondering why they're here in my territory. I've sent Tom to catch them and when he gets back that is when I'll deal with them." I say standing up.

"Did you need something?" I ask her.

"I just wanted to tell you that I'll be going on a hunting trip and I'll see you later tonight." I smile and nod my head. I grab her waist and she chuckles. "Be safe." I say.

"I always am." She says bringing her lips to mine and that's when things get heated.

"Oh come on no one wants to see that." We jump away from each other to see Raven walking in.

"Keep it in your rooms guys....Please." She says and we chuckle a bit. "I'll see you later on tonight." Echo says. She then walks out of the throne room.

I then turn to Raven. "Now what do you need?" I ask and she roll her eyes. "Well it would be nice to talk to you for a minute. "

I let out a sigh. "About what?" I ask. "Well I just got word from one of your generals that more people have gone missing." She says.

"What...How many?"

Raven lets out a sigh. "Ten." She says.

"Agh that's the third time people have gone missing this month."

Raven grabs my shoulder. "Hey everything is going to be ok." I smile at that.

"Thanks Raven I wish Octavia was here and the rest of our friends too."

"Yeah me too."

"I have matters to attend to with the generals but your more than welcome to stay if you wish." I say with a smile.

"Yeah right, Just because I'm one of your advisers does not meet I want to listen to you and generals bicker." She says walking over to the door. "Bye." She says.

As soon as she leaves I return to my throne and five minutes later my was four but now six generals walk in minus Tom and they kneel before me. "Generals welcome." I say with a small smile. They stand up and then Lilly my second best general steps forwards.

"My queen we have herd rumors that a small team of trikru were spotted close to the village moonshine. Is it true."

I let out a sigh. "It is but I've sent Tom and a few warriors to capture them." Lilly nods her head.

"Your not going to kill them?" She asks me.

"No I have no reason to unless they give me one to do so." I say.

That's when another one of my generals steps forward Mike. "My queen I must tell you that trikru and Azgeda have always been enemy's. They would not think twice about killing anyone of us including you." He tells me.

"The same can be said about us as well." I say. He lets out a huff. He was one of two generals who have never liked me. He's wanted Raven and me gone ever since her and me stepped foot into Azgeda. "My decision stands unless the trikru gives me a reason they will not be harmed." I say. They all nod their heads. "Now onto the next subject."

Ugh that was one of the longest meetings I've ever had. I walk into my room to see my main adviser Amy. "Amy what is it?" I ask her. She turns around and bows her head.

"I've just been informed that are grain fields were burned Down."

"What....how?" I ask with a sigh.

"Someone burned them." She says as she takes a seat on my couch. "Well do we know who did it?" She shakes her head.

"So now we have no grain to give to the people." I say with a sigh.

"I'm afraid not your majesty but there is even more bad news."

"Oh great what is it now?"

Amy looks Down at her hands. "Winter will be upon us within a month....animals are already hard to find. I checked and then I rechecked...we will have enough meat to last us three months." She says. I shake my head. "So your telling me that our people will starve?" I ask and she nods her head. "I'm afraid so."

Echo's POV
I walk into Clarke's room to see her standing up and looking out her window into the night sky. She looks beautiful and powerful with the glow of the moon. I slowly make my way towards her and she turns a bit to look at me but then looks back out the window.

"Clarke what's wrong?" I ask her.

She lets out a sigh and then looks down at her hands. "Today has not been the best day." Is all that she replies.

"What do you mean?" I ask and that's when she looks at me.

"We have no grain and we don't have enough meat for our people.....they're going to starve......we're all gonna starve" She says.

I let out a sigh and then walk over to her and wrap my arms around her.

"It'll be alright....we will figure something out."

She lets out a sigh. "I hope your right....how did the hunt go ?"

Echo just stays silent

Clarke lets out another sigh. "Great."

"It'll be ok, now come on let's go to bed." I say.

"Alright."

(Seven hours later)

I wake up to see that Clarke is still asleep. I smile at how peaceful she looks. I've cared for her for awhile now and I'm just so lucky that I have her by my side. That's when there's a knock at her door.

"Clarke wake up." I say but she just continues to sleep peacefully. I let out a sigh. "Clarke come on now someone's at the door." I say shaking her shoulder.

"What is it?" She ask barely opening her eyes.

"Someone is at the door."

She lets out a sigh but rolls out of bed none the less. After she rubs her eyes and yawns she lets out another sigh. "Enter." She says.

That's when Amy opens the door quickly then bows her head.

"My queen Tom had sent us a rider in the night to tell us that he has the trikru warriors and he'll be here within the hour." She says.

That's when Clarke stands up straighter. "Thank you Amy when Tom gets here send him and the trikru warriors to the throne room." She tells her. Amy nods her head then leaves.

Clarke then looks at me. "I have to get ready and so do you. Could you go get Raven on your way please? I'm gonna need her soon." She says with a sigh and I nod my head. "Of course." I say. As I pass her she grabs my arm and I look back at her. "Thank you." She says. I smile back at her. "Your welcome." And as soon as I say that she lets go and I'm out of the room.
