'I woke up on my prison bed, it was dark out and it was freezing, not even my blankets helped warm me.  I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes and had a look around. It was definetely still night. I scooted over to the ladder and walked down and stood on the icy cold floor, which made me shiver even more then I already was. I leaned down and poked Carl's cheek."Carl.."I whispered a bit.. He moaned. I shook him a little. "S-Skye? Whaa. What's wrong?"He yawned. "I'm freezing.. Could I... Uhm.."I was blushing, hopefully he didn't see it. I saw him smile and scoot over and pat the side of the bed. I laid on the bed and faced towards him. "Skye, you're like shivering."He laughed a bit and pulled me into him. Wow, I felt my face burning up. I'm freaking out inside. STAY CALM STAYYYY CALMM. 

Okay, I never had a boyfriend and my last crush was when I was like 6. Carl's been my crush since forever also. But now, now I was in his arms during a ZOMBIE FREAKING APOCALYPSE. 2 THINGS THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. But, it's happening. IT'S REAL. I placed my head under his chin.

"Skye?"He whispered. "Yeah..?" " I love you"

*The next morning* 

Okay. Last night, I swear Carl said he loved me, it was probably a dream. Right now I was outside lying down. I was messing around with a bookbag I found inside a car. I found a necklace a phone, obviously not working. I found a hunting knife, an bullets and a 45. And CDS and  battery worked radio. Sweet. I turned the radio on, it was still working. I put in a Nirvana disk. My favourite band EVER. I smiled as it played. "Hey, Skye. Want to go on a run?" Carl said next to me. "HA. Our dads letting us go on a run by ourselves? You're funny" I smirked. "That's why we do it secretly" He smirked and pulled me up."But, won't they know we are gone??"I said. " I told dad we'd be running around the prison to look around." God, this kid used to be a good too shoes. Now he isn't. I nodded. We grabbed some weapons and headed out, I took the car I was using, since everyone was inside no one will notice, besides, no one even looks at this car. I drove off as Carl opened the gates and closed them. I smiled as we drove off. "Think of this as our first date"He smiled. Oh God, I'm blushing, I'M BLUSHING. CONCENTRATE ON THE ROAD, SKYE. "Skye, are you blushiing?" He smirked. "No! I. I-I'm just hot is all.I.. I SHUT UP"I blushed even more. He laughed. "Look, It's a mall." Carl said after 30 minutes of us driving. "Yeah, but it's probably crawling with walkers." I said pulling in. "Let's go check it out"He said getting out of the car. "Are you crazy??" I said going after him. "Just a little" He winked. When we got into the mall, there were barely any walkers and it was nice. It was actually just like a first date. We did everything we ever wanted to when you go to a store. TAKE EVERYYTHHING!
