Chapter 4: Getting Help:

Your Pov:

          "Alright, I will tell you everything but, you must promise me something," I said to the Earl. He nodded and replied with, "Anything, I will promise you anything, just tell me what's going on." It was almost like he was pleading with me to tell him. We just met about an hour or 2 ago, and he already won my heart. Making me melt at just the sight of him. What was this feeling and why am I feeling it for the Earl or anyone for that matter?

          "Whatever I tell you, you must keep it between us and don't fire my dad, no matter what you here" I was almost pleading with him now too. "Deal" he responded hesitatingly. I nodded and took a long deep breath. 'Here goes nothing' I thought to myself. "Here is everything I know......."

Flashback:

           "It all started when my mom died. I believe I was about 4 or 6 at the time but, that's when my dad started drinking the most. I don't remember how she died but, all I know is that my dad changed that day. I mean when my mom was alive, he would only drink at parties or when he was having a bad day but, when my mom died, he started drinking all the time. Then a couple months later, he started getting mad at even the littlest of things. One time, he even got mad at (M/N) for taking a break after working for almost 2 hours straight, with no breaks."

         "Then about a week later, he would get mad at (M/N) and I for doing nothing wrong but, it wasn't for about 3 months later, that the physical and mental abuse started. It's like he would take my mom's death out on me and on everyone he came in contact with, except in public. I don't remember much of my mom or how it was like when she was alive, besides the fact that we were always a happy family but, ever since my mom died, he has become a different person, and it's not for the better. I mean, even just today, he mentioned that if I screwed up here, I wouldn't have any meals for a week. I know he loves me in his own way but, why is he taking my mom's death out on me? I don't know if I'll ever know the answer to that question, though."

End of Flashback:

          "So, that's my story, I guess" I finished, quietly. He was still holding my hand, tightening his hold on it as I re-laid my story. Then, he just sat there with a shocked and wide-eyed expression on his face. The first thing that came out of his mouth was, "(Y/N), how long has this been going on?" I thought long and hard before replying, "As long as I can remember, I guess."

Ciel's Pov:

           I know I wouldn't normally act like this but, around (Y/N), I just can't help it. I don't know what's wrong with me and what's worse is I think that love her. She is just so amazing, and I can't help it but, I can't deny that I'm falling hard for her even though we just met like 2 hours ago and when I heard about what her dad was doing to her, I suddenly got a pure hatred for the man. I can't believe he would abuse (Y/N). I mean, she is such an amazing person. I just don't understand how someone could hurt her at all. Let alone abuse her and the fact that he was working for me while this was all going on was my breaking point.

          I mean, he hurt the woman I love, and he is out to ruin my reputation. If I let it slip out that someone from my factory was abusing their own daughter, I would be toast. I could even see the fear in her eyes when she was telling me what was happening. God, I wish I could kill her dad right now but, if I did that, (Y/N) would probably hate me for life and for some reason, I don't think I could live with myself if that happened. I also promised her that I wouldn't fire her dad or tell anyone else, which was probably really stupid now that I think about it but, what else was I supposed to do? All I know now is that I need to help her as much and as best as I can.

Your Pov:

          "I want to help (Y/N). How can I help" the Earl asked, after about 10 minutes of silence. I thought about this for a moment. "Right now, all you can do to help is to be there when I need you" I replied back, blushing. 'Why am I blushing? ' I asked myself. It's not like I embarrassed myself or anything, right?

       He just nodded and said, "Anytime you need me, I'll be there." That statement only made me blush harder. Why? I have no clue but, I was glad I now had (M/N) and the Earl on my side because I'm going to need a lot of help if I'm going to get out of this mess, alive. Let's just hope things will work out.

A/N:

        Hey guys, me again. So, what did you think of this chapter? I did as best as I could at 2:03 in the morning but, I hope you guys like it. I worked really hard on it.
