Chapter 3: Lost and Alone:

Your Pov:

     It was now dark, and I knew no one was looking for me. It was late. I was lost and alone. I was a nothing or so; my dad told me, and so, no one would go looking for a nothing. At least, that's what I thought. Until about probably and hour after I had left, I heard a rustling in the trees. At first, I thought it was only a bird or bunny in the woods but, that's when I started hearing footsteps and voices.

     They were quiet at first but, as they got closer, they also got louder. Someone was coming toward me. The only question was who? Who was coming toward me? I knew it wasn't my dad because he wouldn't care, unless I came back. Maybe it was (M/N) but, I would find out how wrong I was. When the person walked into my sight, I was shocked at who it was.

    "I have found her, just like you ordered, young master," said the man in black to another man in the woods, who I couldn't see. It was Sebastian but, who was the other man? Next thing I see, the Earl Phantomhive, himself, was standing next to Sebastian with a worried and concerned look on his face. He must have been the one Sebastian was talking too. "Thank god you're alright (Y/N)" Ciel said as he visibly relaxed. Sebastian on the other, hand was smirking at his master like he said something funny.

    Next, I see a fast blob headed toward me, and I visibly tensed. "Oh, I am so glad you're alright, my lady." It was (M/N). I smiled and started to rub her back soothingly. "I'm alright (M/N), I just need some fresh air" I replied back but, something was still on my mind, and I started to frown. (M/N) And the Earl noticed immediately. Apparently, Sebastian had left without me noticing. (M/N) started talking and took me out of my thoughts.

     "What's wrong, my lady," (M/N) asked as Ciel moved toward me and bent down at my side, holding my hand. At first, I almost flinched away but, eventually, I relaxed in his grip. "M-m-m-my dad, he..." I started but, I didn't get to finish as (M/N) gave me a sympathetic look and said, "He's not here (Y/N), he is still at the ball." I sighed and visibly relaxed. The Earl, on the other hand, had confused look on his face.

    He was probably thinking, what kind of freak would be afraid of their own father. I guess (M/N) knew what I was thinking and looked over at the Earl with a concerned expression on her face. Then he spoke up, looking at both of us, he said, "Someone tell me what's going on here." (M/N) and I were both silent for a few minutes but, then (M/N) broke the silence by saying, "(Y/N), maybe it would be a good idea to tell him everything. At least that way, there is another person on your side, and then we can, perhaps, fix this." I sighed and nodded. I was going to tell him everything
