Chapter 20: Welcome Gift

Carly's POV

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

Uggh!!! School. I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom. It's been a week since mum decided to spend time together as a family and everything got to normal. Rosy is back, I don't see mum or dad that often but I've been used to it for more than 2 years so no big deal. After doing what I had to do in the bathroom, I got out and walked to my closet. Since, it's still cold I decided to wear black leggings, a dark purple hoodie that said 'Hi!', some brown ankle boots, I curled my hair and put it into a ponytail and a little of makeup and lip gloss.

I grabbed my bookback, my phone and my car keys, then I went downstairs. Walking to the kitchen Rosy was cooking something that smelled delicious.

"Hey Rosy!!" I said as I sat in the counter chairs.

"Hey Carly, here ya go, enjoy" she said giving me my plate of eggs, toast and bacon and a cup of orange juice.

"Thankyou" I said starting to eat.

When I was half through eating my breakfast the jerk brothers camed downstairs. I looked at them with a disgust face and kept eating. Max was wearing grey skinny jeans, a white V-neck t-shirt, a yellow cardigan and white vans. Jake was wearing black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, a black lather jacket and black adidas. They sat next to me and started eating. When I was done I put my dishes in the sink and said goodbye to Rosy.

I was heading to the front door when Jake yelled at me from the kitchen.

"What?" I yelled back.

"Your driving with us today!!!" What?!?! NO!!!

"Hell no!!!!" I yelled running to the front door.

"Don't you dare-" Jake said but was cutted by me closing the front door and running to my car.

I turned my car on and left as fast as I could from my house. I drived to Leah's house and when I got there I texted her I was outside. After, 3 minutes she camed out wearing black skinny jeans, a white and black stripped lond sleeve shirt, red vans, she had her hair in a bun and a bit of makeup. When she got in my car I speed out of there.

"Hi" She said putting her seatbelt on.

"Hello" I said driving into the driveway. "Ready for another day of school?"

"Uggh no!! I don't want to deal with Ryan right now"

"Just ignore him, like how I have to do with Blake and today with Jake" I said.

"Ignore Blake I get why, but why do you have to ignore Jake today?" She asked opening her lip gloss.

"Today in the morning after I was done eating breakfast I was heading to my front door whne he yelled at me that I was driving with him today but I yelled at him that I wasn't and he was talking to me when I closed the front door and ran to my car leaving him with the words in his mouth" I explained to her as I stopped in a red light and faced her.

"Your dead" she said putting her lip gloss away after putting it on her lips, obviously.

"Thanks" I rolled my eyes driving away.

"Hey what are best friends for boo?" She said smiling.

"Uhh" I shrugged. I drived to school and parked my car, getting out I saw Jake hugging Tarah I'm dead!!

I started walking fast to the front door of the school trying to be as invisible as I can for him to not see me. When I was almost in the front door someone yelled my name making me stop and turn around to find an angry Jake walking towards me. The first thing I thought of doing was run and I did. While running I looked over my shoulder to find Jake very close to me, so I ran faster when I felt someone grab my wrist turn me around and throw me over his shoulder.
