'Daniel's Point Of View.'

'lover- a person having a sexual or romantic relationship with someone, often outside of marriage'
--------------------------

It feels as if we've been in detention for hours, even though we've only been in here for another hour. It's only now one, making me loudly sigh, getting the attention of Philip. "What?" I asked rudely, making him shuffle in his seat, looking away from me. "Sorry, you just sighed loudly, so I looked over. Didn't think it would be that big of a problem that I looked over." He answered, cuddling up in his huge wings as I did with mine. "Whatever." I mumbled, making him scoff at me, completely turning away. A couple of minutes have gone past, and neither of us decided to dare talk to one other. Then, he finally spoke. "Why'd you do it?" I heard Philip mumble, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Do what?" I asked nicer then usual. "Start fighting me. I didn't think I did anything to you." He told me, making me finally look back over at him. "Well, it was because- actually, why should I tell you why?" I asked, crossing my arms, glaring at him. "Well, you'd need a reason to start punching someone and hurting someone so much they can't fly for a while." He answered, making the guilt hit the bottom of my stomach like a heavy rock. "Really? You can't fly at the moment?" I ask, gulping at the answer he would give me. "Yeah, I honestly can't. It really hurts too." He replied, looking down at the ground. "Oh, uh sorry, I guess." I mumbled, making him create a gaze towards me. "Uh, it's whatever. So, why did you do it then?" He asked me, crossing his arms as he stared at me, making me shift a bit in my seat at his intense gaze. "Well, Anthony was telling me things, so I had to show him he was wrong, which ended with me beating you up, and us both getting in here, then staying in class and getting a lecture on whatever." I answered, him nodding as I talk. "Yeah, okay whatever. So, you fought me because you had to prove a point to your friend? What the hell is wrong with you?" Philip asks me, making my anger come up. "Wrong with me? Wrong with me? You're the one who will always be staring at me everyday, then act like nothing happened. You're always there, even when nobody wants you here!" I yell at him, making him look away from me. "Okay, well sorry for me looking at people! I didn't know it was such an odd thing to do, Daniel!" He yells back, making me send him glares, considering he used the 'Daniel' card. As I was about to yell back, the detention rooms door opened, revealing Mr Urie, holding the key to the door. "Schools ending in about an hour, so just stay in here a little longer, then you'll both be able to leave." He told us, smiling an evil, crooked smile at us. We both looked at each other, then smiled at him. "Okay." We said in unison, making Mr Urie nod his head, then leave the room. As he closed the door, I sighed, lying my head back on the table. As I did this, I began to think of what has happened today. Hopefully, I won't be back here anytime soon, I, surprisingly, don't want to be bored all day long. I turned my head to the side as my head rested on the table, looking over at Philip to see how's he's taking this situation. He's taking the situation about the same as me. Philip had his gaze directed to the front of the classroom. He looked as if he would fall asleep anytime soon. I then noticed how tired and torn he looks. Bags were lining his eyes, as well as his hair was floofed up in several directions. Cuts and bruises were lining his face, as well as his exposed arms and other exposed areas of his body. His collarbone had a huge cut along it. I know I shouldn't feel bad, but I couldn't help from not feeling bad.

It felt as if it were hours later, but eventually, Mr Urie came back into the room, telling us it was time to go. Once he said it was time, I swiftly flew out of my seat, flying out of that classroom. I felt my huge wings flap behind me, the air picking up until I was outside. Once I was outside, I flew over to where Anthony was. He was on his phone, playing some game I didn't have any care in. I also noticed that beside him was an angel, well, his arm was around their waist. Once he looked up and noticed I was there, he put his phone down, giving me a best friend smile. "Hey man! How was detention with your lover?" Anthony asks me, making me scoff, rolling my eyes at his choice of words. "What lover? I wouldn't date him, never." I spoke, making both Anthony and the girl laugh at me. "Okay, whatever. Haven't realized he's a gaybie for Philip." Anthony told the angel girl, making her nod in agreement. "Oh! Yeah, by the way, this is my girlfriend, Kolel." He brung up, using his free hand to point to the Angel that was wrapped around his arm. "Hello! It's very nice to meet you, Anthony told me a lot about you, like how you and Philip are totall-" Kolel spoke, getting interrupted by Anthony, swiftly putting a hand over her mouth. Kolel still had her hand reached out in a manner of shaking my hand, so I did. Her hands were very soft and tiny. "Are all angels hands that soft?" I thought out loud, making Kolel laugh a bit. "Actually, yes! We all have very soft hands, but maybe I'm lying, so you should go grab Philips hand and see for yourself!" She exclaimed through a muffled hand over her mouth. "What's you guy's problem with me and him? He hates me, I hate him. Plus we're both opposites. I'm not an angel, he's not a devil. Wouldn't work out." I told the, making them stifle a laugh. "Well, Kolel is an angel and I'm a devil, yet we are dating. It can totally work out! Except that you're totally gay for Philip." Anthony told me, Kolel nodding in agreement. "I'm totally not!" I yell, blush finding its way to my face for some reason. "Okay Amiga, whatever." Kolel laughs, Anthony joining in. "I'm leaving, are we still going to have our truth or dare games in the forest tonight with the rest of the Devils?" I ask, heisting my book bag up. "Well, obviously! Would it be okay if Kolel joins us?" Anthony asks, making me laugh at him. "No, I don't mind. I dunno about the other guys, but I obviously don't mind. Okay, well I'm going to get going. Bye Anthony, and it was nice meeting you Kolel!" I told them, swiftly running away, then flew into the air on the way home. I don't understand why most of the Devils decides to walk home. If you can witness the beauty up above, seeing all the stars or clouds in the sky, take the opportunity. I see some other Angels and Devils wings up ahead of me, flapping their way home as well. Some of the Devils wings get glints from the sun, making a beautiful whimsy gray colour with it. The clouds surrounding them like they are the only mattered colour up here. Some of the Angels wings get the glint from the sun as well, making a beautiful pastel blue sky colour with it. The Suns glint surrounds their wings like they are the only mattered colour up here. Sometimes, I wonder why everyone decided to stay down there, on that ground, not able to see the beautiful colours I see right now. Before I get back into my whimsy imagination, I looked down to see where I was. I saw I was right above my house, so I flew quickly down to the ground. I flew a little to quickly to the ground, stumbling to catch my balance as my feet hit the ground. I fell over my feet, rolling over the ground. I groaned in pain, trying to stand. Once I did, I felt my wings. They felt very hurt. I now realize why everyone else decided to walk home. Less possibility's of getting very hurt, or seriously damaging your wings. Your wings are the most important part of you, so if you mess them up, you're screwed. It will hurt so bad you want to kill yourself. That's how you'll know you did something to seriously damage them. I tried to walk off the pain, but the pain stayed as I walked. I just sighed it off, walking up to my door and unlocking it.

As I walked into the house, the smell of alcohol flew around the entire house. I was about to take my shoes off and run upstairs, when I heard a crunch under my foot. I looked down to see pieces of a glass bottle under my shoe. I sighed sadly, quickly flying as best as I could up the stairs to my room. Once I reached my room, I slammed the door shut, locking it afterwards. I swiftly slipped my shoes off, pulling out my phone to see all the several notifications I had. All were from YouTube, Twitter, and texts from my friends. I decided to call Anthony instead of texting him, since I know it would take longer. As I called, I felt my wings shift underneath of me, so I looked behind me. My wings had a huge cut in them, making me outtake a shaky breath. Finally, Anthony picked up, answering with a casual 'hello.' "Hey, w-when are we going to be hanging out and doing the truth or d-dare tonight?" I asked, wincing as I shifted around on my bed. "Uh, we're going to be doing it at ten tonight, considering today's Friday, we can stay out as late as we'd like, so we picked ten." Anthony told me, me nodding even though he couldn't see it. "O-okay thanks, Anthony." I spoke out, making him respond with a 'yep,' then hung up. I sighed, looking back at my wings. Yes, I have hurt them several times already, but not like this. It hurt, really bad. I shrugged it off once more, then got ready to go to hang out with the friends. As I put another pare of shoes on, my door opened slowly, revealing my tired, stressed out mother, cuts and scratches over her exposed body. I forgot that my mom has a key to get into my room anyways. "Hey honey, how's it going?" Mom asked, obviously not with it. "I-I'm fine mom. Wings just hurt a bit." I replied, making her shrug it off as well. "Okay, well, if you hear anything from downstairs, don't worry about it. Me and your father is sorting everything out." She told me, even though I doubt she believes her own words. "Okay mom, keep lying to me, it's okay." I told her, a mean smile lining my face. "Honey, I'm not lying to you. Well, I sorta am, but that's no-" "See mom, you are lying to me. Whatever." I interrupted, then climbed out my window, jumping out to the air, beginning to fly to Anthony's house. I heard my mom yell from the background, but I didn't dare turn back to look at her. As I heavily flapped my wings towards Anthony's house, I began to feel tired. "No, not right now." I whispered to myself. I was quite aways from the ground, so I kept pushing through the tiredness, trying to go any faster to Anthony's house. Eventually, the tiredness really kicked in, making it rather noticeable. I sighed, just remembering you should really only take a huge flight, like I did, once a day, not twice. Soon, I felt my wings completely stopping, and then I began to fall. I felt as if it all went into slow motion. I was expecting a huge impact to the ground, then fumbling to get back up, but instead, I fell into the warm arms of someone. The arms held me tightly, not daring to let go. I didn't even realize, but I had curled my head under their chin, not wanting to let go myself. Soon, I looked up to see who caught me, only to be met with the twenty six year old angel. He slowly sat me on the ground, me regaining my balance. "Are you okay?!" Philip asks frantically, making me slowly nod. "Y-yeah, I'm fine, thank you." I told him, making him nod. "How did that even happen?" He asks worryingly, worry was clear in his voice. "I was going over to meet Anthony, and I hurt my wings already today, so when I went over, the exhaustion hit and I fell, landing in your arms." I told him, not believing that I'm being so nice to him. He let out a shaky sigh, then told me, "please, be careful, Daniel. Even though we're sworn enemies, doesn't mean I could ever see get really hurt. Just, please be carful." And with those words, he was gone and on his way somewhere else. I was in shock. His words started to circle in my mind as I was walking to Anthony's house. 'Even though we're sworn enemies, doesn't mean I could ever see you get really hurt.' I sighed, a part of me hoping he really meant those words. As I reached Anthony's house, I knocked on his door, him answering, then pulling me into his house. "Hey dude, it's actually almost time to go play truth or dare with the rest, ready? You look a bit shook, everything okay?" Anthony asks, making me nod. "Okay you two, let's go!" Kolel told us, interlocking her fingers with Anthony's, pulling him outside the house to the forest.
