I noticed everyone go upstairs and saw Kendall came back down he lied down on the bigger couch. I started to fall asleep but couldn’t, so I just kept tossing and turning over and over again. “Leslie you okay?” I heard Kendall ask I turn towards him “Yeah I’m fine” I replied “you know you don’t have to lie” he told me. He was right I wasn’t okay, he called me over let me lay down with him “What’s wrong?” he asked I told him I was scared about my dad finding me and hurting me. He told me that nothing was going to happen as long as I’m with him, his family, and the guys of course. I gave him a small smile and asked if he could sing me to sleep. He nodded and sang “You’re Not Alone”. As he sang the second verse the tiredness took over me and fell asleep.
Epilogue
The next day at the cheer leading completion we won 1st and my 2 friends and I won 1st in the small group category. After a while I finally was able to smile again and like the boys promised me they were there for me through everything from fights to break ups. Also a month after my mom’s death my dad was caught and put in jail for life. I don’t know what would’ve happen if I didn’t have Kendall there that day I don’t know what would of happen to me but I’m glad he was there.
