Kendall’s POV
“Where’s my mom?” I heard Leslie ask. “Look she was taken to the hospital… your dad hit her really bad” I tried to say as comforting as I could. “Oh” is all I heard she looked down and I already saw the tears coming. “Hey, hey, hey, it’s okay no matter what happens I’ll always be here for you” I told her. “Thanks Kendall you and your brothers have always been like brothers to me.” She said. “Let’s go see what’s going on outside?” I told her. She took off her backpack tossed it on the bed and we headed outside. Once we got outside it was crowded with news reporters, from the newspaper and news channels. She came closer to me and I put my arm around her “Just look down if you don’t want to be seen my mom is waiting for us” I said as I felt her nod.
