*Jaime's P.O.V*

That's when it happened. We had just gotten to Mike and Tony. Mike grabbed Vic by his shoulders and pulled him in for a hug, tears escaping from his sad eyes. "If you ever try something like that ever again, which you wont, you wont be the only one leaving this place, hear?" he whispered loud enough for us to hear.

Vic nodded unenthusiastically. We all headed back for the gate and back home. We had reached the road where we had to cross. I stood close to Vic waiting for the few cars to pass by. As the coast became clear, I jogged across the road, Vic following. Suddenly, he stumbled and fell. Just as I noticed he fell, it happened. As he got back to his feet.. BANG. The screech of the tyres pierced through our eardrums and there, my love was almost lifeless on the floor.

"VIC!!!" we all screamed. I ran to Vic, Tony following and Mike cursing the driver as he ran out.

"Oh my God, call 911, I'm so sorry, oh my, is he, oh my God!" he panicked.

"Vic, you'll be okay. I swear if you leave me now, I will never.. Vic please don't go." I cradled him in my arms while other people crowded us.

The blood from his injury seeped onto my sweatshirt as I cried softly. His quiet breaths gave me hope but still scared for him.

"We need an ambulance right now. U-uhm, outside Easthale Park... My best friend, he's been hit by a car, hurry please!" Tony yelled into the phone.

We carried Vic to the side of the road and I rocked him lightly back and forth. "You're going to be okay." I whispered as I kissed his forehead. I heard the ambulance sirens and immediately shot my head up. They ran out, pulling out a gurney from the back of the ambulance. Two men picked him up and placed him onto it. As they carried him into the ambulance and hooked him up to an oxygen tank, I quickly asked one of them men if I could stay with Vic.

"What are your relations with him?" he asked.

"He's uhm.. My be- my b-boyfriend." I said nervously. I didn't know if that was the relationship between Vic and I... But it came out in hesitance.

"Okay, we're going to need you for your witness statement anyways so sure."

I thanked him and hopped onto the ambulance and sat on the seat beside Vic. I grabbed his hand and kissed it. His unconsciousness drew him away from reality. He looked like an angel. A damaged angel.

"You are going to be okay. I promise." I whispered, holding his hand close to me. There's no way I'm letting him go.

*Vic's P.O.V*

My eyes drifted open slowly, there was not much light. The only sounds I could hear were the quiet chatters outside the room, the machines I was hooked up to, and the soft snores of someone beside me...

I tried sitting up on the bed, my back aching, restricting me to sit straight. I looked beside me to see a spiky haired man subsided in slumber. Jaime.

I reached for his hand and shook him a little. "Jaime, Jaime wake up." I whispered loudly. He failed to hear me so I spoke louder. "Jaime!" I almost yelled.

He jumped in his seat and quivered. "What, whats happening, who is it?!" He was looking around frantically and I couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, its just you." he caught his breath.

"Oh sure, don't seem happy to see me." I grunted sarcastically while crossing my arms. Jaime sat up and moved his uncomfortable looking chair closer to me.

"Oh c'mon, who wouldn't be happy to see you." he put his hand on my arm while saying. I felt his finger stroke my healing cuts, which sent a shiver down my spine. I couldn't help but stare at him. I just wanted to hug him tight and kiss him and never let go of him...

I shuffled to the side, creating a space beside me. I motioned Jaime to sit next to me. I looked at the digital clock on the table next to me and it read 02:10am, meaning no doctors would be around to tell us off for sharing a hospital bed. He smiled and shuffled in next to me, cautious of my injuries to my head and back. I adjusted myself to my side, comfortably enough. I looked at him and put my arm loosely around his waist, his hand on mine.

"Jaime.." I whispered.

"Yes?" he looked at me as he said. "What's up?"

"Well, I-I was just wondering.." I cleared my throat. "What is going on with us?" I asked anxiously.

He sighed. "I.. I don't know. I mean, I love you, without a doubt but.. I only want you to be happy. And I don't know if I'm good enough to give you what you deserve." he said.

I was taken aback by what the amazing man next to me just said. "Not good enough? No way. You're all I want..." I replied, fiddling with my fingers.

"R-really?" he said. I nodded to his question.

I felt his soft hand on my chin, making me look up at him. He leant down and kissed me softly. I deepened the kiss, both our tongues fighting for dominance, until he pulled away. "Well then, uh, I have a question." I let my silence call as his gateway to ask. (I pretty much knew what he was going to ask).

"Will you uh, or do you want to, uhm, like us, we-" I cut him off with a laugh. "What?" he asked. His eyebrows furrowed.

"You're really bad at this." I laughed.

"I know.. Ok seriously now. Will you, Vic.. Be mine?" he looked down shyly. A large smile grew on my face.

"Yes, sir." I giggled, total manliness. He held my hand tight and closed his eyes, a small smile emerging on his face. Adorable.

"I'm never going to let you go, no matter what." he whispered.

Little did we know that a matter could be on its way..
