Blake woke up on the floor of an abandoned building drenched in sweat. She was breathing heavily and was shaking slightly. The girl took a deep breath and sat up, trying to calm herself down. It took her a few moments to remember where she was. With a sigh she stood up and walked over to the broken window. She gazed out at the sunrise; her mind wandered to her teammates and she wondered if they were watching the sunrise as well. She liked to imagine they were, it made her feel better.
The faunus tried to get her mind off of the events in the dream, but with no success. It had seemed so real to her... Blake looked out at the horizon, out there, somewhere, was her best friend. She hoped she was doing okay and wasn't dwelling on Blake's sudden disappearance. She didn't really want to leave, but she had to so she could protect the people she cared about. If she had stayed they would have gotten hurt. Even though she tried not to, she had gotten super attached to her teammates. It had made her mission a lot more difficult. She wished that she hadn't gotten caught up in this mess, but she had made a deal. She had to protect them in anyway she could. Maybe it would be better if she left and met up with her team and explained her situation... But would they even believe her? She regretted the decisions she made, but was too scared to fix the problems she had started. It would have been better if she had never met them... A knock on the door brought her back to reality.
"My love, it's time to leave."
"Coming Adam."
