Six - Lazy Day

Yuuri woke up pressed against Viktor. He could feel Viktor's warm breath on the back of his neck. Yuuri didn't want to move for two reasons; if he did, Viktor would wake up, and he would have to get out from under the warm blanket. He felt safe in Viktor's arms. He lay there on his phone while he lay in Viktor's arms. Slowly, Viktor woke up, snuggling closer to Yuuri. Once he was awake, he realized what he was doing and blushed.

"I'm sorry Yuuri." Viktor said, scooting away. "I didn't mean to get that close."

Yuuri smiled. "Don't worry about it." He said. "I haven't slept that well in weeks."

Viktor relaxed a little. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." He said, blushing more.

"It felt...right being in your arms." Yuuri admitted, blushing as well. There was an awkward silence before Viktor spoke again.

"How about we have a lazy day today?" He asked, smiling at Yuuri. Yuuri smiled back and nodded.

They turned on the tv and as they watched movies, Yuuri found himself snuggling closer to Viktor. He didn't mind, he just pulled him to his chest and smiled. Yuuri felt himself start to drift to sleep again, only to have Viktor kiss his head. It felt so much better Han when Anna and him cuddled. Yuuri actually felt something when he was in Viktor's arms. He felt safe, loved, and cared for. He never wanted to get out of his arms.

After a while, Yuuri sat up, rubbing his eyes. Viktor was sound asleep, looking like an angel as always. Yuuri got out of the bed and took a quick shower, thinking about Viktor and how he changed his life. He found himself blushing as he pictured a shirtless Viktor looking down at him. Yuuri was straight, why was this happening? He didn't know what to think. He didn't want to fall for his coach. But, Viktor showed signs of love towards Yuuri, kissing his head and everything. Yuuri got out of the shower, a towel draping over his hips. Viktor was up and watching tv.

"Have a good shower?" Viktor asked. Yuuri nodded.

"Yep." Yuuri said smiling.

"Yuuri?" Viktor asked, lowering the volume on the tv. "Can I tell you something?"

"Of course." Yuuri said, taking another towel and drying his hair.

"I think I like you." Viktor said softly. "I know you're straight and just got broken up with but I can't help it."

Yuuri looked at him and saw that Viktor was looking down, as if he was ashamed that he liked Yuuri.

"Hey Viktor?" Yuuri asked, making his coach look up at him. "I don't know what I feel."

Yuuri saw Viktor's heart break. "That's not what I meant." Yuuri added. "I mean that I think I like you too but I just don't know. I thought I was straight but you make me question that. Like, I just imagine you caring for me and I like it. I like being with you. I just don't know if I'm straight or rethinking that. I'm giving it time to see if these feelings change."

Viktor smiled. "I was really scared to tell you. I was scared you'd be grossed out and just hate me." His voice trailed off at the end. Yuuri hugged him.

"I could never hate you." He said softly.

Viktor smiled and nuzzled his face into Yuuri's neck, sitting together silently before there was a knock on the door, making the two of them jump. 

"Please let me in!" Yurio's voice came from the other side. Yuuri's hands balled into fists and Viktor went to answer the door. 

"What do you want?" Viktor asked, blocking the doorway so the boy couldn't get in. He gently pushed past Viktor and went to Yuuri. 

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry about what I did." He said guiltily. "I know sorry won't get you and Anna back together, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I deleted the post and told Anna it was all my fault." 

Yuuri rolled his eyes slightly but then sighed. "I won't forgive you, but I appreciate the apology." Yuuri said. 

Yurio smiled a little and left, making Viktor look at Yuuri in shock. 

"What?" Yuuri asked, laughing a little. 

"He smiled." Viktor said. "He never smiles!" 

Yuuri smiled and rolled his eyes with a laugh. "I'm just glad he realized that hes an asshole." 

Viktor hugged him tightly. "Let's kick his ass at the competition."
