Tonight is the night I go on a date with Tanner. I wonder what this is going to be like, is this going to be awkward?
I like Tanner, but I don't know if I like him like that. I keep wondering if Ty is really okay with this or not, but I am trying my best not to think about him.  I just wish it was that easy, but I know it's not.
I am trying to get over him, but it's like I can't get him out of my mind. Why does Ty have to be so perfect? His face, his smile, his personality, all of him is perfect. I just don't know how, I am telling you he won't leave my mind.
Tanner has helped me alot, but I don't know if he should be going on a date with me. I am scared I will lead him on and hurt him. I don't want to do that, but I have to give him a chance. I mean it's just a date nothing too serious right now.
Maybe there will be later, but we will just have to watch it play out. I want it to play out well, but we will have to see.
Right now, I am getting dressed, I decided to dress casual. I mean he is a country boy so I doubt we are doing too much, but that's why I like country boys. We have fun but nothing too formal.
I tie a ribbon around my head and I am done. "Amelia, Tanner's here." Yells my step mom. I roll my eyes and grab my jacket and run down stairs. "We shouldn't be out too late, don't wait up tho." I told my dad and walked out side with Tanner.
"You look great." Tanner says. "Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself." I got in the truck with him holding the door open. He got in.
We drove out towards his parents farm and drove past their house out to the pasture. There was a bon fire and a picnic set up on the ground not too far from the fire, it was perfect. I couldn't  have thought of better.
I am beyond happy right now, I cant help but smile. "What do you think?" Tanner asks. "It is perfect." We got out of the truck. I almost forgot the lake is right next to the bon fire.
"Oh, I should have told you to bring your swim suit." Tanner says. "It's okay  I could just text Zoella to bring me one.
I pull out my phone and call Zoella. "Can you bring me a swim suit?" "Sure, where are you guys?" "Out on the pasture by the lake." "Okay, I'll be there in 10."
Tanner and I sat by the bon fire while waiting on Zoella, when she finally arrived she left the swim suit. I changed in Tanner's truck.
We went swimming in the moon lit sky. We swam together for a good hour and a half and got out. He wraps a towel around me and we ate the food he brought which was deer meat, pasta, and his mom's delicious cookies. Then, we sat at the bon fire until he took me home.
