Enchanted Beach
“Knock knock” My mom answer the door, it was my friends. They questioned “Where is Jennyfer?” “She’s in the back room sleeping, please wake her up and by the way what are you girls up to today?” my mother asked. They replied “Today were going to the beach”. “Good luck waking her up and have fun, remember bring her back before dawn” my mom posed. They beckoned “okay”. My friends started walking down the hall that usually had the sensation it’ll never end. While on their way, hollered “Wake up wake up, Jennyfer the beach is waiting for us”. When they got to my room they slapped me and shouted at me “wake up!!!” I woke up and they explained to me; “Jenny, get ready we are going to the beach today. I nagged “ugh the beach really, can’t we do something else”. “No, so get ready” they demanded. They made me get ready in less than 5 minutes.
There's a long way to go to the beach from where I was staying. My friends and I went there walking, it was almost a mile long. At first I had thought it wasn't worth it, but as soon as I arrived, it changed my mind completely. From afar all I had seen was lands of sand, trees, and a large area where kids and people can play. As I got closer I saw how it was all laid out, there was a place of sand that be increasing as further you went. It looked like a passage, this was because there's is the ocean on both sides, on the right the water is deep, and on the other side the water is low with a reef at the end. There’s also a reef at the end of the passage, and a lot of rocks. As I walked towards the beach final end, I could smell the sweet scent of salt water. I felt the wind blowing through my body and how sometimes it would splash some salt water at me. There were some moments when I could feel the wind blowing at me so hard that if I close my eyes I thought I was riding a motorcycle. Another feeling I had was that as I first got on the beach the sand would be rough but the farther in the passage I got the smoother it would get, the same would go inside the ocean. The big picture to me would be the ocean and the rock, the ocean unlike many beaches I have seen, it was transparent and clear, I could almost always see it unless it started forming waves. There were always rocks in and out of the ocean. Many were very pointy and kept pinching me, so I had to be careful. The rocks that were on the outside were at the end of the passage of sand.
When I imagine type of rocks what goes ‘through my head’ would be small rocks, hard rocks or moon rocks. Well the rock that I saw weren’t any of those rocks, they are huge but at the same time really pointy that can hurt your feet. They kept getting higher and higher as further I went into the rocks. A person like me that is very curious like curious Jorge would want to go further in the rock to see what there is on the other side. In my mind the things that pop into my head made me even more curious. What I was thinking to myself, if I don’t go there then very likely one day I’ll definitely regret not going to see what was behind the huge and sharp rocks. I spontaneously decided to go and see what was behind the rocks, my friends followed me and what we found were ponds, fishes, star fishes, crab and one of my friends said that they saw a snake but I never saw it, so it hard to believe to see a snake in the beach. I told her “Come on girl a snake, really”. When I turn around I look to the side and I saw a place with a small water fall that was adorably cute with rocks and another place that had very deep holes. All the rocks were pointy and would pinch my feet. I thought that the next time that I’ll come to the rock area, I’m going to bring shoes and if someone comes here without shoes they are crazy for sure, just like me. If I came again without shoes like I did this time I’ll suffer because it’s hurting likes a bee stain. When I reach almost the end; I saw the most beautiful sight with the ocean splashing against the rocks making it even more beautiful. I had to be careful not to get wet and I had to be careful so that I wouldn’t fall and hit myself with something. Mostly because I’ve been told that I’m more likely to fall in most cases. After I took my time enjoying every moment of the gorgeous sight, we finally decided to get off the rocks and enjoy the beach. When we were off my friends told m
e that those rocks were called “Dog teeth’s”; I bet that it’s named like that because they hurt just like when dogs bite you.
I noticed that on one side of the passage the water was always shallow while on the other side it was always deep and had lots of rock in it. When I got in the water it made my skin feel really good because I was really sweaty from walking all that way to see the beach and all the time I spent walking in the rocks. Which involved the most beautiful sights, I never could imagine that I would see in my entire life. I started swimming very far from the shore, I notice that there was a beautiful reef with all tons of fishes that had loads of variations in color some would have the feeling of being light others would be heavy, for example if they had a bold color. Others carried more than one color, and had spots or areas that would differ from the main color. Though there were others that had so many colors that it wouldn’t have a main color I’ll be colorful like a rainbow or it would be completely full of dull colors, which are poles apart from a rainbow. When fishes like them two would gather together, I would have the expression of “wow” because they were so special looking together. I was so amaze that I didn’t notice, I had spend more than half an hour looking at them and touching them which most of the fishes felt so soft like a blanket made from silk. Though some would be slippery and have the impression of being slimy. On the other hand, there were a few that were hard, and some were so fast around my hands and body, that it felt at times like a rush of wind. Also seeing how they felt on my little tiny hand compared to them, also when they would touch me I was cracking up because it felt like little tickles everywhere. It made me laugh so much when they would touch my little toes; I started drinking some, salt water that tastes horrible because of having my mouth open. Hopefully the cute adorable colorful fishes hadn’t poop in the water. I remember that they felt soft like a baby bottom but at the same time it looks so rough that it was so hard to explain with words to myself. I ran out when I notice that the sun was coming down and that the night was dawning upon me. I started swimming back when I finally got to shore my friends asked me “hey what took you so long”. I answer “I saw a reef and it was spectacular it’s hard to explain it, you had to be there with me. So you can see it and possibly understand why I took so long, it was breathtaking” She said “oh well let hurry up because it going to be night soon. Your parents are going to be so mad at us if we stay out to late, they might ground you for more than a month”. All of a sudden, we saw that the sky was turning orange; the wave’s splash even more against the rocks. Making it astonishing, not even beautiful words can describe how I felt that moment, it like I’m stunned, amaze, well what am I saying to myself, I don’t even know how I felt because even right now I can’t even describe how that experience felt to me.
All I knew is that it was worth the walk for sure. That was like a perfect picture moment, a memory that I will never forget. While we headed home we were all talking and laughing at all the experience, we had taken in the beach. What we touched, smelled, looked, and heard. When ever I go to the beach now it reminds me of that day, that I went to that special beach with my friends and saw the most mind-taking things that someone can ever see or that how it felt to me. Also one of the most important things to me was how happy I was that day.
