Chapter 9:
I walked out of the hotel room and called Crystal and Michelle. I wanted to apologize. I didn't mean to sound hateful to them. So I invited them over later for a girl's night. They agreed, of course. We were gonna go eat, and go back to my hotel room to watch movies. I was excited.. But for now, I'm at the mall, alone. I was walking around, checking out the stores. When I heard a familiar voice. It was the same bitch that wanted me off stage last night. "Hey bitch." She said as she walked over towards me. "What do you want?" I asked.. "Nothing. Well. One thing. Stay the fuck away from Cameron.. He's mine." "Well, you have nothing to worry about, he doesn't wanna see me, ever again." I assured her, putting emphasis on the word "ever." She smiled. "good, he finally had some sense knocked into him." She said as she walked off away from me. I walked the other direction. It didn't bother me really. I didn't even know this girl, and she was taking precious time out of her life to hate on mine.
I wandered around, buying stuff from Abercrombie, and American Eagle. I had my arms full of bags.
"Hey! You want some help with those?" I heard a voice behind me yell. It was a male voice. A very sexy male voice. I turned around. I was right. He was beautiful. He stood about 5'11, short, but wispy brown hair. He had blue eyes. He was wearing faded jeans, a Volcom tank top, and Vans. I smiled. He walked over to me and took some of the bags off my arms. "Thanks," I said with a smile. "Oh, you're welcome. My name is Colton by the way." "Hi, Colton. I'm Allie." I stuck my hand out for him to shake. He did, with a smile. "So what brings you to Nashville? Are you one of those MagCon fangirls?" He said with a laugh. I giggled. "yeah, I am." His face fell. "Oh, I uh, I didn't mean that. MagCon is cool. My step brother is actually a part of it. I just ran into him here earlier." "Oh really? who is your step brother?" I questioned. "Cameron Dallas." He replied. I stopped dead in my tracks. That fucking figures. "Whats wrong??" he asked me. "oh, uh nothing. My foot went....numb.." I said, trying to play it off. He laughed a little. I caught back up to him. "So, you want me to help you to your car?" He asked me. "uh, no, actually...I walked. I'm staying at the Opryland, next door." I told him. "Want me to help you carry them there? Maybe I can take you to get a coffee, or something?" He asked, very nicely. "Ohhh, I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that. Just give me your number, and I'll text you? Maybe we can get one tomorrow morning?" I asked him. He looked upset, but he wrote his number on my hand. I thanked him, as I headed out of the doors to my hotel room. How in the hell, of all people, do I meet Cameron's step brother. And why in the hell was he so attractive. I was walking down the street, lost in my thoughts. Thoughts about Cameron, thoughts about Colton. Thoughts about...everything really. I decided to take a shortcut down an alley behind the hotel. I was running late, and I needed to get back soon. I started down the alley. Even though it was midday, the alley was dark, and cold. I heard a gunshot. and I jumped, but quickly hit the ground. There was a pain in my stomach. A pain I had never felt before. I looked up to the sky. That's all I could do. I couldn't move, the pain was so unbearable. The last thing I remember was the sound of ambulance sirens, and a boy saying "Help her, I think she's dying!" And then I blacked out..
