Crystal's POV

"Why should you know? You don't need to know anything because you are not part of my life. " I said a bit too harshly but I was happy with what I said and the tone I used because some people just like playing others, don't they?" I. Am. Your. Mate! " He growled loudly.

His anger resulted in his sharp jawline ticking and his whole body shaking as his nerves perked up to the top."You lost that title the day you rejected me!" I yelled. Isn't it obvious? I don't understand him and I don't think I ever will. I believe in the Moon Goddess and know that she makes the best decision for her creation but I personally think she might have been drunk when making Kyan.

"What is your problem? Why won't you just tell me? " He said in a dangerously calm tone which had a certain edge to it."Because—" I was thankfully cut off by April. "Crystal!" She called as I growled before scampering off. April was a life saver but she could've worked faster,  I was dying there. But I know that sooner or later I'd have to tell him something.

"Yes April?" I asked walking into our room of the pack house. "We need to talk about Lilly and Kyan." She replied closing the door behind me before barring it. I tiredly put Lilly down on the middle of the bed and lied down next to her. I was thankful that April brought up the topic.

"Okay so what should I tell Kyan?" I asked,  staring up at the ceiling. "What do you mean?"  She asked confusedly. "He asked me who's baby Lilly was." I sighed exasperatedly. I was tired of walking and Kyan but worried non the less about the consequences of my words. What if Kyan took Lilly away from me? And I can't let that happen because no matter what he's done to me,  I really love him and Lilly is the only piece of him I have left.

"Tell him it's his baby with you." She said. I quickly sat up and stared at her. "You can't be serious. What if he takes her away?!" I cried out. "He can't."  She sighed before sitting down next to me. "Once he rejects you then he also rejects your baby which means you have full right over her." She said.

I knew that but I'm just really cautious about Lilly. After thinking about what she said couple of times,  I finally gave in. "Fine." I whispered staring at Lilly who fell asleep. "Don't worry Crys, I'm with you." She said in an assuring tone as her hand gently clamped my small shoulder. I just smiled in response but still couldn't help but think about all the possibilities.

"Crystal, it's time to tell Kyan everything." April said calmly as if it were the easiest thing in the world. "Uh, You sure?" I bit my lip nervously. What if he tries to harm her? No Kyan wouldn't do that. My Wolf growled at such putrid thoughts but my mind wasn't set on anything.

Gathering up my very last ounce of courage, I pushed open our room door and pitter patted down the long hallway. Even though this pack house wasn't as large as the Alpha King's, it was fairly big but that the least of my worries right now. Kyan just so happened to walk in my direction. I felt my Wolf howl in delight as he put his hand forward to stop me.

Halting in my step,  I slowly craned my neck to look up at him. "Crystal, we need to talk." He said monotonously before securely and surprisingly getting a hold of my wrist and pulling me in another direction but this time I kept quiet and carried on walking.

Upon reaching his intimidating study, he roughly pulled open the mahogany door and dragged me in right after him. He gently pushed me onto the couch to sit down and shut the door. Slowly walking towards me like a predator, he folded his large arms over his defined chest and intimidatingly stood in front of me,  his shadow looming and figure hovering over me.
