Chapter Twenty Nine: The Last Day

We were sitting on the beach chair in silence, just enjoying each others company. I was thinking to myself this is going a little too fast. I mean i do love him but, its not like a "im gonna marry him someday" love its more of a he's my boyfriend and i love him type of love.

Allie: *sigh* justin...

Justin: i think so too...

Allie: huh?

Justin: i know exactly what your going to say?

I sat up and looked at him.

Allie: oh yea? What was i gonna say?

Justin: our relationship is going too fast...

Allie: wow...you really did know what i was going to say!

Justin: i agree with that, our relationship is a little speedy

Allie: i think "i love you" really put a damper on it.

Justin: ok, so we do not love each other...yet

Allie: we like like each other

Justin: so we are dating right?

Allie: uh sha

Justin: did we ever go on a first date?

Allie: i dont know, is the beach considered a date?

Justin: i dont know, we werent going to the beach as a couple but we came back as one

Allie: what about dairy queen or jet skiing?

Justin: i guess we could count that but we were with kay, ash and austin.

Allie: yea that doesnt really count then i guess.

Justin: i think we need to go on a first date then!

Allie: nah...first dates always end in distasters

Justin: yea...hmm...

Allie: how about this little convo right here was our first date!

Justin: im glad i got to know you better, im looking forward to our second date

Allie: thanks so much for everything, i had a great time

Justin: (laughing) your too cute!

I blushed a little. I heard music start playing which means most of the adults were awake.

Allie: ...our last day...

Justin: dont be sad babe...

Allie: how can i not be sad!

Justin: i dont know...are we leaving tonight or first thing in the morning?

Allie: pretty sure first thing in the morning.

I layed on justins chest, a few tears ran down my cheeks. Why did i have to fall in love with a guy all the way across the country!?

Allie: promise me that we will stay faithful to each other?

Justin: promise, on the bright side...in two months austins going to that family reunion in pennsylvania, he can bring me and then we can see each other!

Allie: yea...but two months!

Justin: we can do it...

Allie: i know but it wont be easy...

I looked at my watch and it said 7:30. Music already filled the house, gotta love party animals! Summertime by kenny chesney was playing. Me and justin happily sang in unison.
