Chapter Thirty: Trying To Be Happy

Justin turned the radio on as we were driving to the go-carting place. Falling for you by colbie calliat came on. I started singing along, justin took a hand off the wheel and grabbed my hand off of my lap and put it on his lap. That was weird, i thought to myself. I continued singing and justin even started singing. He had a voice! He sounded like a misture of chris brown and justin Bieber. Justin turned into the parking lot of "SeaShore GoCartz", and parked the car. He got out of the car and walked over to my side of the car and opened the door for me. I got out and intertwined my hand with his and rested my head on his shoulder, as we walked to the little shack.

Allie: jus, you didnt have to open my door for me, its just a door, im capable of opening it myself.

I giggled a little and justin let out a small chuckle.

Justin: i was raised to have A LOT of respect for women.

I thought to my self for a moment. If he had such "respect" for women then why did he cheat on me!? I didnt even reply to that. We walked up to the little shack and a guy who looked to be about 18 or 19, stood in the window. His name tag read jeff.

Jeff: heeello, myy name iss jeff. Howw may i hellp youu?

He talked with a slow country accent, causing me to giggle a little but i tried to cover it up with a cough, causing justin to chuckle a little. The tone in his voice immediatly made the impression that he was bored out of his skull.

Justin: two go-carts please

Jeff: howw oldd are youu twoo

Allie: im 14

Justin: im 16, 17 in 2 weeks

Jeff: doo youu both have a lisencee?

Justin: i do but she doesnt

Jeff: wee havee a bit of a problemm thenn dont wee?

Allie: what are you talking about? Since when do you need a license to drive a go-cart?

Jeff: sincee your drivinng themm on the beachh!

Justin: babe you still wanna go cart even though you cant drive?

Allie: i dont know? What time is it?

Justin looked at his phone and then at me.

Justin: quater til noon

Allie: nah we can skip town

Jeff rolled his eyes and justin and i started walking back to the car. Justin opened the door for me and i slid in. He got in the drivers side and shut the door. There was about 2 seconds of silence and we both looked at each other and busted out laughing!

Justin: (laughing) t-that guy s-sounded soo bored!!

Allie: (laughing) i-i was bored j-just listening t-to him!!

We laughed for a good two minutes. Still chuckling justin started the car and drove out of the parking lot.

Justin: where to now?

Allie: not back to the house!

Justin: what about back to the house and to the beach?

Allie: hmm...ok!

It didnt take long for us to be back in the drive way of Ocean Mist. I opened my door and got out.

Justin: aallie

Allie: what?

Justin: i was gonna open your door

Allie: you missed the boat!

I pinched his cheek and skipped up to the first floor door!

Allie: baby? I dont wanna go to the beach...im too burnt!

Justin: wanna go in the jacuzzi or pool then?

Allie: jacuzzi!

Justin: race ya!?

Allie: go!

I swung the door open and ran down the first floor hallway to my room. I shut the door and and as quick as i could i changed into my bathing suit and ran out of my room. I didnt see justin in the hallway, ha slowy! I ran to the glass sliding door and walked over to the jacuzzi. He wasnt in it yet, i won! Hahaha! I stepped on the step to get in and slowly got in. I had horribly burnt legs, so this burnt so bad. I decided to wait until justin came to get completely in, because this was painful. I was sitting patiently, waiting for justin when.

Justin: BAHH!!!!

Justin popped out of the jacuzzi and scared me half to death. I screamed bloody murder and fell backwards onto the ground. While laying on the ground, breathing heavily from the scared, i heard justin chuckling. Two can play at this game. I closed my eyes and tried to slow my breathing as if i were unconcious.

Justin: ALLIE!!!!

I heard him jump out of the jacuzzi and run over to me. He scouped me up in his arms and started franticly running to the door.

Allie: BAHH!!!!!

Justin let out the funniest scream ever! It wasnt like a girl scream but like a pro wrestler yelling when hes about to wrestle someone. I was laughing so hard. Justin set me down and looked at me like i was crazy.

Justin: you almost gave me TWO heart attacks allie!

Allie: you almost gave me a heart attack and a concussion!

We both started laughing, before i could react justin scouped me into his arms and through me into the jacuzzi. This burned so bad. I came up from under the water.

Allie: OWWWCHAA!

Justin: (laughing) what?

Allie: my freaken sunburn!!

Justin: (sarcasium) oops sorry!

Justin hopped in and the water finally stopped burning. I relaxed a little and closed my eyes. I felt justin put his arm around me.

Ashley: wazz upp!!!

My eyes shot open to see ashley and kaylee standing their in their swim suits getting ready to get in the jacuzzi.

Kaylee: mind if we join?

Allie: (clenched teeth) not at all!

Ashley: good cause we would have came in whether you liked it or not!

I rolled my eyes and started to relax again. Justin pulled me onto his lap and i rested my head on his chest. I am dreading this day comming to an end!
