                            Ava's pov
After Ava moved to Cleveland, She didn't go to school for a week. Instead she sat on the top of her roof and watched as four boys walked past. One of the boys stood out the most to her as he was the most unique looking with how his white skin contrasted greatly with his bright blonde hair. He was really cute. Out of no where he called out,
"Hey girl on that roof, what are you doing up there?"
He doesn't wait for Ava to answer, instead he climbs up onto her roof relatively quickly. Ava glanced at him but didn't really care either way. His friends end up leaving after one of them gets hungry.
"Do you always climb up on a random roof?" Ava asks sarcastically.
"No, I only climb up onto the cool ones, how old are you?"
"Im 12, what about you?"
"Fourteen, damn you don't look your age," he replies in shock.
"Thanks," She said as she rolled her eyes.
"I live next to you so we'll probably see each other a lot more now."
"You are going to come over here a lot?" Ava questioned with curiosity.
"Yah, I may."
"That's cool."
"Where are you from and why did you move here?"
"I'm from Canada. I moved here because my mother got a job."
"Oh cool," he replied nonchalantly.
"Ya, just means I have to go to a new school." Ava said as she rolled her eyes once again.
"I'm guessing you don't like school," he jokingly said with a laugh.
"Ya, I wish my mom home schooled me, but my brother loves school so I have to go," Ava replies with a long sigh.
"You can hang out with me and my friends."
"What is your name?" Ava finally asks, wondering who this guy could be.
"My name is Colson."
"Cool."
"What about you."
"My name is Ava," she says quickly.
"I like that name."
"Thanks."
"Well Ava, what did you do for fun in Canada?" Colson asked curiously.
''Well me and my brother would play in the snow.''
''Oh well, it barely snows at all in Cleveland, good luck with that," he joked sarcastically.
Ava replied with a playful push as she said sarcastically, "Yeah, so funny Colson, we get it, it snows in Canada. Good job on that one."
''What Can I say, Canada is always cold."
"What was school like up in Canada?"
"We get a lot of snow days school and we don't make it up," Ava replied with a sad sigh, realizing she most likely won't get that again.
"Lucky, I hate school and my father makes me go. My dad is an asshole if you couldn't tell."
"Oh, so I'm guessing you don't stay home?" Ava asked curiously.
"Yes."
"You can stay here if you need to," Ava offered, thinking he might need a bit of help.
"Thanks."
"No problem Colson."
"Yo Ava, I got to go my boy's are here."
"Dope."
"I'll see you later."
"Yah I may need to sleep over today."
"My window will be open for you," Ava paused thoughtfully, "but don't you dare try anything!"
"Like you can stop me," he replied with a wink.
"I'm really good at karate and gymnastics so I dare you to try something! I'll beat you up!"
"Fine, but I got to go see you later girl."
