7 years ago Colson p.o.v

I was so happy when that happened. I started crying I was so happy. 😂💜💜💜

It's been a year since Ava moved next to me and I can't get over how cool she is. I snapped out of my daydream when my teacher yelled at me, but I could care less since I spotted Ava. While she was in gym, we were in school. At first I could only focus on her smile as she walked over to me and my friend, Slim. But I began to notice the stares of everyone on us.
"Hey Ava," said Slim.
"Yo Slim," she replied with a smile.
While focused on Ava, I began to notice people making fun of her and laughing, .
"Hey Ava. Why is everyone laughing?" I finally asked her.
"Colson, people are talking about us because everyone thinks that we are together and making fun of me for it."
"The fuck? You're two years younger than me, I'm not going to get you in trouble," I replied in anger.
As I turned to leave I made sure everyone saw me flip them off as I left. Because the people at my school fucking suck, I got in trouble with the principal- Assholes. The period ended so I stopped what I was doing and began to go to my next period. I give Ava a quick hug as we say goodbye and then continue into my classes with Slim.
"Colson, you know you're going to get in trouble."
"Yah, I know and don't care, everyone in this place fucking sucks."
"Then why did we come in today?" Slim asked, exasperated.
"My father followed us till we got here so," I shrug my shoulders unconcerned.
"That sucks."
"Yah he is an ass."
As I continue down the hall, not caring on where I'd end up, a teacher hurriedly comes across us, red in the face. She yells at Slim for not being in class, but not before she instructs me to go to the principals office.
"Colson, come into my office, why did you flip people off?"
"Cause they were making fun of Ava and she didn't do shit so I told them off," I growl out.
"Colson, you can't do that," my principal replies in his "this kids an idiot" voice.
"I really don't care, someone I consider family was getting hurt so I helped her."
"That was not the way to handle that situation."
"Then how the fuck should I have handled the situation?" I ask sarcastically, infuriated.
"Don't use that kind of language here."
"No, I'll do what I want."
"How is everything at home?"
"Why do you care?"
"I care what happens to you."
"Your not one of my friend so I don't care what you say."
"Ok Colson. You can go back to class."
"Whatever."
I get up and I was about to go to class then i saw slim so we went to the bathroom.
"What did he want."
"He ask me why I flipped people off then asked me about my home situation."
"What the fuck,why does he care."
"Yo you got a joint."
"Yah here."
"Thanks."
"So I guess you're not going home today."
"Nah but I may sleep at Ava's or Rachel's." (that's going to be the name for Cassie's mom)
"Ava's she is nice and Rachel probably has stuff to do."
"Yah Ava is chill so she may not care."
"Ava is a nice girl. When will you tell her you like her."
"Never she is 2 YEARS younger than me, and she is going back to Canada in a year. so what is the point."
"True but you should give her something so she remember us or you."
"Im going to I just got to think of something."
" yo it is last period let's go."
Me and slim stayed in the bathroom and finish the joint. Then we went to class. I don't know why I bother because I don't do anything in class.
We get to class and I sat in the back next to slim. The teacher was not here so we had work. When the teacher comes in. He said hi to me like he knew me.
"Hi Colson."
"Who the fuck are you and why are you talking to me."
"Oh yah. You never met me but I know who you are."
"You didn't answer my question mother fucker."
"Im your mom's husband."
My heart stop. He was the Ass that my bitch of a mother left me for. I was not happy to see him or to have the class know my mother left me.
"Oh your the ass that broke up my family. I was hoping I would never see you or her again."
"Oh I'm sorry, you're mother worries about you."
"Oh that bitch that left me. When I was nine and never thought to come back and see me ya I bet that bitch dose. She is an ass. When I was younger all I want was for her to come back and now I don't give a fuck about her or you." As I said that I got up and left the room but I said fuck you asshole before I left. I bumped in to Ava in the halls and she had her bag.
"Ava what are you doing."
"Im being dismissed. Why do you look like you're about to cry."
"My mother's husband is in my class."
"How do you know it's him."
"He was trying to be nice and thought I knew him."
"Colson you ok." Slim asked as he ran to get me.
"No im not ok."
"Hey Ava, what are you doing come back to class."
"Fuck that shit. Im not going. I'm going home with Ava."
"Ok bye I guess."
Me and Ava walk out the school and see her mom sitting in the car.

"Hey sweetie and Colson shouldn't you be in school."
"Left him, he is not having a good day. His mothers husband is the teacher for his class today."
"Oh."
She didn't say anything after that she knew about Colson's house and family situation. She feels bad for him so she let's him crash at you're house. We went to go get my brother. I look back at Colson to see him looking out the window. Tears running down his face. I never see him cry. He never talks about his mother or as he calls her the bitch that conceived him and left him. I wounded what was going though his mind. We got my little brother and went home.
"We are going to go to the mall Colson if you want to come."
He sat there and said yes. We got home and changed Colson went to his house to get something. I'm guessing weed. He came back and sat on my roof smoking. When he was finished the joint. He came in my room and he sat on my bed he looked a little high. He was in a better mood. My mom called us down we ran to the car. I saw Colson's dad come outside and Colson ran to the car. His dad asked me if I knew where he was and I said no I have not seen his since lunch. His dad said nothing else and went back inside. Colson said thanks and got back in the car. We get to the mall and my mom gave Colson and I some money and her and my brother walked around. She said that we are to be back her in 2 hours.
