I stepped in on the glass of the broken door and heard the low cracks on the floor. I carefully walk in more. I grabbed cans of soup and water bottles. Whatever is left that is. As I stuff all the things in my bag I hear ruffling in the far right. I turned my head immediately and walked towards the sound. There is a door in front of me. It reads 'employees only'. I began to breathe heavily then I heard a loud raspy voice. I couldn't identify what is making that sound. As I headed to the door I grabbed the knob with my left because I had a knife in my right hand. I got the knife from my back pocket because I came here alone. I opened the door to see an indescribable human looking figure pounce at me. It opened its mouth as if it tried to bite me but as soon as it got closer I took grip of the knife and stabbed it right in the eye. My heart was racing and I felt all the adrenaline pumping through my veins. I pulled the knife out of the body and it fell onto the floor making a loud slap. I inhaled and exhaled over and over again until I had caught my breath.
I made sure the monster was dead, then I got closer to it. I looked at it clearer now. It had rotten flesh and I saw its cheekbones. It was wearing a name tag. "T-Tom?," I read out loud but still low enough for no one to hear or things to hear...
I grabbed my backpack and my bag. I continued getting my things. I walked into the room of 'employees only'. It reeked of rotten flesh and had flys all over a mattress, along with a big stain of blood.
I looked around more and I found a picture of the employees. There were ten people in the picture. I looked at each person to see if I knew anyone. My eyes widened as I saw the one person I wish I hadn't...
