I'm tiered and I wanna put this up tonight... short chapter... sorry 😴
Ninas POV
"Lilly, can we go to the vets?" I didn't hesitate to ask, because now I keep hearing small cries of pain from Leo.
Her eyes lock on Leo, with the expression of half shock and half confusion. Her reply was given shotrly after her multie emotion face was pulled.
"Yeah sure... he looks pretty beaten! Umm... lemme go get my stuff. My cars the blue one outside, go wait by it." Our roles were soon acted on.
*Fast forward to being sat in the car, nealry at the vets... sorry... so... tiered*
Lilly quick fired questions at me. They were pretty easy to answer, they were just like:
-Where did you find him?
-How did you carry him back?
-How old do you think he is?
-What do you think happened?
-Aww isn't he just so cute? Rhetorical but still a question :P
Lilly opens her mouth, as if to ask another question, but then seems to slowly retract it.
"Whats on tip of your tung?" I asked, sounding so nosey... which I am :3
"Nothing, just that how will you look after him if you're in hospital?" Hahahaha... easy questions didn't last long ey? But it's true, how will I look after him.
An idea came to mind, but it seems a little far fetched.
"Lillllyyyyy.... could you look after him?" I drag my words out, ya know that tone that as soon as you start using it the person you're talking to knows that you want something.
"Nina, I don't think that's a good idea. I have a dog called Mandrew-" Her speech was interrupted by a burst of my sudden laughter. Mandrew? Kim? The Yogscast dog? Hahahaha... wait, does she watch the Yogscast?
"Wait, do you, watch the Yogscast?" At small spread across her pail, yet rosie, cheeks.
"Nope, I let my little sister name him. But I may have bumped into one of them once or twice..." She has that look that practically shouts 'ask me who it is! There's more story to this!'.
"Ohhh, who was it?" I genuinely seriously really want to know who she bumped into. Like I said, I'm super nosie!
"His name is Paul, but to many people his name is Sjin!" Oh, she's met Sjin! My loyal cucumber pal... hold on a minute!
Sjin went to a costume shop, that sold a giant cucumber costume, identical to the one at Lillys place. But he also came back with a date, with a girl called Lilly. They've 'bumped into each other' before.
LILLYS SJINS GIRLFRIEND!!!!
"WAIT! YOU'RE THE GIRL WHO SJIN HAD HIS DATE WITH?!?" Her whole face went red, but also got flushed with confusion.
"Wait how did you know that-"
"BECAUSE I'M SJINS KID BFF AND IF HE EVER WENT TO THE HOSPITAL IT WAS CUS HE WAS GOING TO SEE ME! WE ALL KNEW HE WENT ON A DATE WITH A GIRL CALLED LILLY FROM THE COSTUME SHOP! I PUT SOME PIECES TOGETHER AND THEY ALL FIT!" Her face seems just as exited as mine about the whole situation! YAYAYA YAYAYA I met Sjins girlfriend before anybody else!
For the rest of the way, which only took about 2 mins, we talked about how I knew Sjin.
After we get to the vets, because of the condition that Leo is in, he is taken straight in by the veterinarians to be checked out. Lillys eyes sparkled as a new idea seemed to pop into her head.
"Hey! We could Skype Sjin! I'm pretty sure he would love to see his to fave girls in the same place!" She said, her voice full of sarcasm to the end.
Maybe it's not the best idea with me meaning to be in the hospital and all that, but they're gonna find out anyways, and Sjin seems like he would be the calmest.
Sjins POV
Right, I'm at Lillys shop and she ain't here. Why isn't she answering any of my calls! My God my God my God my God my God! It's dark now anything could happen to little Nina!
My eyes begin to moisten with tears. I just hope we find that little nutter safe and sound.
Duncans POV
Both me and Kim haven't been able to hold back the tears for a whole hour now. We have been searching the streets near the hospital like blood hounds. My baby girl will be found, safe and sound. Nothing will happen to her. Stay calm. Stay calm. Stay calm.
Screw it, why am I trying to kid myself! She might not be ok, she may not be found safe and sound! This is an expressly busy part of Bristol after all! Any freak could have pinched her!
I just need to stay calm. If not for me, then for Nina and Kim...
Kim's POV
OH GOD WHERE'S MY BABY GIRL! I NEED A FREE HUG FULL OF LOVE! WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HER? WHAT IF WE NEVER FIND HER? WHAT IF SHE HURTS HERSELF EVEN MORE? WHY COULDN'T SHE JUST STAY IN THE GOD DAMN HOSPITAL!
Duncans face is puffy and stained with tears. My face is like a volcano and an ocean had a baby! Stay calm Kim... breath... just... breath...
Lillys POV
I get out my phone to call Sjin, and notice that I have 38 missed calls from him... umm... that's normal...
I enter my password and load up Skype, before little Nina chirps up behind me.
"Oh 3642, nice password!" A cheeky tone rings through he voice.
"Ey, bugger off nosie!" Cheeky little devil she is. Loveable, but still cheeky.
I load up Skype and commence the call! He answers immediately. First time that's happened in a while :P
"Hey Lilly!" His voice sounds worried, yet a little relived
"Hey Sjin, what's with the hushed tone?" I reply.
"No time to explain. I need you to come help me try and find my friend Nina... please?"
OK, so maybe that chapter wasn't that short...
