dear diary,
so i officially survived my first day! there were tons of teens everywhere, buzzing from class to class, meeting new teachers, making new friends and hugging old friends. there was such a high energy, everyone seemed so fun! and get this: i made a new friend!
i was walking down the hall, clutching my schedule for dear life, trying to find my locker to drop my new textbooks in. i finally came across it, and right next to the locker was this girl, wearing the same cardigan as me. i flashed a tight smile, not sure whether to be flattered or pissed we were twinning. i fumbled with the lock, and was dropping my stuff in, when she finally looks up at me. "hey, i'm willa, your new locker neighbour!" and from then on we just hit it off! due to our outgoing personalities, the conversation flowed on, and soon enough we had exchanged phone numbers!

YOU -- aye what's up
WILLA -- do u wanna come to this party friday night
YOU -- yasss sounds like fun!
WILLA -- cool!
WILLA -- we can walk there together, it's just a few blocks from the school
YOU -- awesome, here's my address.. what time?
WILLA -- is 8pm ok?
YOU -- perfect !!
