Chapter 4

Layla pov

I woke up at 10:30 Am to get ready to practice. The talent show in on the 23 so i have 2 weeks to practice my moves. I put on my workout clothes and did my hygienes. I left a note to tell everyone where I would be. I walked outside it was freezing but I'm determine to do my best. I started to jog to my old dancing studio i use to attend.
It took me 40 mins to get there but it way worth it. As soon as i walked in my old teacher started screaming and jumping in joy.
Ms.mackley: I'm so glade to see you! Why are you here
Me: my teacher making me join the talent show so im here to get him with my dancing
Ms.Mackley: girl I'm so happy you are back don't worry about paying but I'm need for you to help me while i teach you.
"Okay i surely will" i said smiling to myself
I started thinking about when she said pay I wasn't going to pay noway.
I walked to the back room and change my clothes to dance. I dance for like 20 minutes but I couldn't do my old moves because i was scared my leg would pop. Ms.mackley gave me a braces for my knee. I started to do my old hiphop dance routine.
"Girl you can still do the moves as good as you use to" i herd a familiar voice say.
I turned around to sleep my old dance partner jikerra
She ran to me a gave me a hug like never before.
"Girl where have you ben i missed you" jikerra said
"Nothing living life" i said back
"Girl lets trade numbers, we should hang out sometimes" jikerra said
She handed me her phone and i put my number in her phone and texted my self.
"It was nice seeing you bye girl" jikerra said
She made me feel happy that she cared about me
I looked at a choreography for hiphop for me to learn moves.
I guess i will be here all day today.

Jasmine pov

I woke up to a very hot room. I got out of bed and notice the heat was on 85 degrees. I know for a fact layla ass did that she always cold. I turnt the heater on 74 and then turnt it off. I walked in the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face. When i got done i walked in layla and shayla room . I looked at layla bed and noticed she was gone. Usually I would freak out cause layla never go anywhere. I looked at my phone it said 1:30pm wondering where could she be. Shayla is asleep i didn't want to wake her up. I walked down stairs and went in the kitchen and theres a note on the refrigerator.
It reads :
I went to my old dance studio love lala
It was kinda weird for her to write that when she could have text me but oh well. I got me a water bottle from the refrigerator and a blueberry muffin. I went back to my room a notice i had 54 miss call and 20 messages. All the calls was from my mother and 19 of the text messages from her.
I clicked on her number and called her.
Phone conversations
Mother: why in the hell you ain't answer your fucking phone hoe.
Me: I was sleep now what do you want
Mother: don't talk me like that bitch! Rico will be there in 30 mins i don't care who go but one of yall better go! Matter of fact ill let him pic be ready.
Me: we ain't going no dam where with him fuck you bitch.
I hung up in her face with her dumb ass. She got me all the way fuck up.
I pulled out my phone to text layla

LALA
3:30 pm Me: bring your ass home rico trying come get one of us and we not going with him no where!
3:58 pm lala: man i don't want to go with him, I'm almost at the house.
I ran down the stairs to look at the window until she come.
I saw her running towards the house so I unlocked the door and open it.
" Go wake up shayla "! I yelled to layla
The whole time i had my hands crossed he wouldn't come.
"Why you waking me up I'm tired" shayla yelled from upstairs
"Because rico on the way now get down here"!i yelled back at her
Here and layla ran down the stairs looking out the window.
"Okay so go make sure the back and side door lock" i said while looking towards shayla
As she did that i told layla to open the hidden door in the wall.
Shayla came back where i was standing.
Shayla: the doors are lock
Me: okay get in the hid out room
I looked back out the window and saw rico car coming to the house.
I waited until he got out the car to get in the hid out room.
Only we know about the room not even my mother.
Make sure you phone on silent and go all the way to the back.
My dad made this room before my mother killed him.
There are hidden cameras outside and the tv in here show the camera spots.
I turned the tv on to see him banging on the door.
He starting calling all our phones then he called and then called my mother.
He had walked back to his car cursing my mother out. When his car left the yard we got out the hidden room. My phone started to ring and it was my mother .

Phone conversations
You idiots are costing me money! My mother yelled thew the phone.
Me: we are no longer doing that fuck you
The i hung up on her with the crazy stuff. I noticed jay text me so I decided to reply later.
I made sure no one was outside before I decided to order food.
I herd knocks at the door and i know its not the delivery guy. I looked out the window and say jay sexy ass and tezz. I opened the door to see what he want.
Jay: hey i was checking and see if you okay you ignore my messages.
Me: sorry i been busy but i was going to respond
Tezz: he thought you was rejecting him
Me: nah i just been busy today sorry.
A car pulls up in the driveway i started to get nerves.
The man got out the car with bags I forgot I ordered uber.
Jay walk to the man and grab the food for me. I started to get butterflies in my stomach when handed me my food.
Tezz: so are we going to stand out here like fools are you going to invite us in.
Me: sure come on in
Jay: you here alone
Me: no my sister and cousin upstairs
I walked upstairs to hand lala and shy there food.
"Jay is downstairs I'm so happy but don't come down peak over the stairs" i told them as I walked back down the stairs.
Jay was sitting on the sofa on his cell phone. Tezz was arguing with someone on the phone. I grab my food and sat on the sofa.
If you want something to eat there is food in the refrigerator.
Him and tezz walked in the kitchen. I started eating my wings when I noticed they where in there to long. Finally they came back with hell of snacks. "Dang hungry or nah" I said to them
"Man we high as hell" jay says and then started to laugh loud.
" next time you get high let me join" i said
"Sure shortie i still have some let now" jay said
"Lets go in my back yard" i said
Me , jay and tazz went in the back yard. They gave me my own blunt and i smoke it all. Then tazz rolled up 6 more and we was smoking . I never felt so good in my life. Smoking with the boy that I'm currently falling for.

Shayla pov

I spend the whole day in my bed doing my assignments that's almost due. I only did about 3 assignments so far working on my finish my 4th one. Mr.jack give a lot of homework that will take all year long to complete. Im trying to stay in the gifted program to keep my scholarship. When i was in the 9th the school wanted me to join a boarding school in California. I really wanted to go but my aunt karma told them no. She made me so fucking angry that day. I could have been done with high school but nope aunt karma messed me up.
I started to think on what Layla said about making my mother live threw me. I miss my mother everyday i wake up and every night before i go to sleep. My mother died right in front of me. I remember that day like its yesterday.
I was 9 years old when we was in a car wreck. I was the only one to survive a very bad wreck. My mother was driving and my grandmother was in the passenger seat talking. A 18 wheeler came out of no where and smack the passenger side. The car flip about 3 times thats what i herd. The last time it flip it was like we was flying in the air. The car hit a tree on the driver side. The glass had cut my mother and my grandmother head turned the wrong way with blood coming down. I never knew who they died and I survived the accident. My arm, neck, and legs was broken for a while. The doctors to me i would need be able to walk again. But look at me now able to walk and all. My grandmother died before we made it to the hospital. My mother died at the hospital because she lost to much blood. I still cant believe they are gone.
I have to make my mother proud even though she gone. Im show her that even though my life not good ill still have her in my heart.
