"Okay girls," Brightanne met the eyes of all the girls. "We have three hours to buy groceries, clothes, and spend time with family. We will meet here to eat and then leave. Use your time wisely and be responsible."

Minnie and Kyle walked towards a popular shoe store, Lannie and her sister walked towards a clothing store, and Brightanne and Mei walked towards the grocery store. Yeunnie followed her brother to the play area in the middle of the mall. Min, Jee and Sei began to wander without any sense of what they wanted to accomplish.

The shoe store was filled with both adult and kid's shoes. There was anything between cute little slippers and large work boots.

Minnie drifted toward a row filled with sandals and Kyle made her way to a display of combat boots.

Minnie was mesmerized by the contrast between the brown leather and the soft pastel fabric. She was so engulfed with picking up each one and looking at them that she did not notice the boy walking up next to her.

He glanced at the sandal in her hand. "That shoe is perfect for you."

The boy's face and voice were emotionless, but she smiled at him anyway. "Thank you." She set the shoe down and moved to leave the row.

Kyle had noticed the boy walking up to Minnie and was watching them suspiciously through the combat boot display.

"Ugly shoes for an ugly girl!" The boy broke out in a grin and laughed as if he had just told the best joke in the world.

Minnie's face fell and she froze, her hand still hovering over the shoe she had just set down.

The other patrons in the store stopped and looked up when they heard the sound of someone stomping and banging their way across the store.

"How dare you say that!! She is the most BEAUTIFUL person I know!" Kyle thrust her finger in the boy's face.

The boy chuckled, an arrogant smirk split his face. "Well, I bet I can name one more beautiful person."

Kyle dropped her finger and balled her hands at her side. A sickeningly tight lipped smile crossed her face.

"Oh, yeah?" She crossed her arms tightly, her fists still balled. "I'm sure your mother means well, but you really aren't anything special to look at."

The boy's eyes widened and his mouth went slack.

"Come on Minnie, I think it's time we try a new store." Kyle grabbed Minnie's hand and dragged her out of the store.

They left some shocked shoppers and a very shocked boy in their wake.

The clothes store Lannie and her sister entered was filled with all different styles. There was anything from leather jackets to full flower print rompers.

The sisters settled in peacefully flipping through the racks. The cashier rang up a few items for a customer, another customer asked another employee where to find an article of clothing.

Chunhua, Lannie's sister, looked up from a shirt to ask for an opinion when she noticed someone slightly familiar. The person turned around and Chunhua got a good look at his face.

"Chanyeol?" She asked in disbelief. She put the shirt back on the rack and walked towards him.

"Chunhua? I haven't seen you in years!" Chanyeol stepped forward and engulfed her in a hug.
